John K
I have a drill that I can do while in the car, no gun(of course) While on the freeway I pick out a vehicle in front of me in traffic, then I look to another, not just glance but look at it, then move to another and so on. Not a quite a stare, but more than a skim. Each move is deliberate and I try to speed up the looking AND the transformation between cars. I go left right, right left, near far, import/domestic, combos are endless. It works for me, I believe that I am seeing faster now with more purpose, and time in traffic is not wasted. Skydiver
I need to practice that drill at the beach or poolside. I can tell my significant other that it's to improve my shooting. :-)
cyburg
I do that while I'm driving also. I look at the details of the car. Does it have lights on the dash, radar on the head liner and so on.
Dancin Dan
I like to look at the reflectors on the center line until they disappear under the car, then flash real fast to the next one, then repeat as much as I feel like it. It exercises all the muscles in the eye.
benos
Good stuff. I keep my eyes moving constantly while driving. My goal is to be aware of everything around me, in the front and back, at all times. be
Corey
my eyes snap all around when driving as well, not necessarily for a training pupose ( altho it doubels as one), but mainly to watch out for all the wackos out there on the road with me

Dustin Lohof
The reflectors on the side of the road have a little rivet that holds them on to the post. Look for it, you'd be surprised how clear it can be for an instant at 75 mph as you go by. Dusty
