dave pasos
I was looking at the results of the 2001 Rio Salado Classic and noticed the L10 winner had the most match points. I thought "did he win the entire match?" How could he have had more match points than the winner of the Open Class? And still not be Overall winner? I made a call to someone who finised very well in Limited and said the scoring was different for the L10, Limited and Production division. Is this true and how could this be? Anyone! Phil Dunlop
Dave, We get the occassional revolver shooter at our matches. Because he is competing alone in his division he wins all the stages for that division and so accumilates a perfect match score. However he may well have only shot half the hit factors of open or standard shooters. Scoring is unique to each division and the only way to compare performance is to go back and compare hit factor,i.e the points per second scored on each stage. At Rio I thought there was an overall result on the web site, it can be done by entering all competitors as in the same division I believe. P.D. dave pasos
Iam thinking knowing this in advance could make some shooters rethink what there going to shoot as to get an early chance at the prize table.
