98sr20ve
So I have a G34 with a Wolf 15 lb spring that is at least a year old. I used to pass the following test easily. "pulling but not releasing the trigger, pointing the gun in the air, retract the slide a small amount and see if the gun returns completely into battery" I gun is dirty, I shoot my own lead bullets and don't clean the gun very often, but at least monthly. The gun functions fine. How important is it for the gun to pass this test? I like the way the gun functions now.
BayouSlide
You'll probably fine, but keep an eye on that spring. Me, I'd probably think about changing it out. This test is a rule of thumb, not absolutely definitive. Springs don't last forever though. FWIW, I use an ISMI 13# in my G34 and change it out every 5K as a preventative measure. BlueOvalBruin
Just make sure that it doesn't get so light that the striker spring overpowers it and pulls the slide out of battery.
Glockcomma
If your using small pistol primers, and they aren't Rem. or Wolf install a 4# Wolff striker spring. You'll have a better trigger and your recoil spring will be better matched to your striker spring.
