DBrevit
Hi All, Looked at the 2010 rule book and info is not there, at a monthly match(level 1) how many classifier stages can be run, looks like one but on page 54 (I think) it is listed but notes (1) (2) in the old book it said what (1) (2) was but not anymore, I'm holding a small match before the main monthly matches start to work out the score program etc and the talk is to hold some classifier stages to help new shooters get it done and some others that are a few short, looking to put together 4 plus two stages. CZinSC
According to the previous version of the rule book, that footnote you are referring to said "Special Classifier" matches allowed up to six classifier stages. I'm not sure, but I think you have to get prior approval to run a Special Classifer match. You may reach out to Jack Suber or Linda Chico at Mid Carolina Rifle Club. MCRC usually runs a classifier match around Feb/Mar every year, so they would most likely be able to give you more details. Unless of course someone responds here first. pvhendrix
You need to contact Richard Moser the Section coordinator. His contact info is on the NC Section page.
spanky
Yes you need SC approval but you do not need to send in the approval form before the match. In fact, you can have your SC email Val @ uspsa or call to give approval then just send in the activity report that Ezwin spits out. Its really only one extra step from a regular match. Good thing is that even at 6 classifiers, its only a few bucks more per shooter than normal.
