swandme
WOW YOU missed a GREAT match , what a set up !!!!! 6 challenging stages. One of the best matches I have been to, and to find the quality of props and design in the middle of nowhere on a beautiful day was fantastic. Wall with windows, door activators swingers , color match plate racks a car , a life size and weight partner you had to drag to cover , a roof to shoot from for targets out to 300 yards. with other long range steel not to mention a great group of competitors and they served up some great burgers with all the fixins and a beverage for 5.00 in addition to a modest match fee of 20.00 . The course was a thing of beauty, well planned and maintained throughout the match by keeping a Permenant RO @ each stage and a Traveling RO that shot with the squad. I will hope the guys plan another match soon . Hats off to all who had a part in making this a great time and only two hours from home . well worth a four hour drive like I have for Holmen . The Club with a spearhead by the ROTC group did a fantastic job of coming up with a fun shoot. I will not miss it for next time . swandme
Questions I have had : Yes the Round Count was posted prior to the match and the stages were sent out by email to those who pre registered. Every thing came off without a hitch. : )

MTU_327PC
Dan, If you got those videos, I'd like to see how they looked. In particular I'm a bit interested in the one where I accidentally dismantled the CPR dummy. -Drew
swandme
There was even a PRIZE table Very nice side benefit: It was by Drawing and a 15 or 16 year old won the grand prize a AR piston Kit from Adams Arms and second was a 100.00 gift card and a few other small prizes. We had a ball. My favorite stage was the long range rifle I finished second behind MSG James Eagleman who clearly kicked my but @ 41.6 seconds compared to my 67 but he is a Sniper by trade and not to forget they had the scores available by the time we helped brake down the stages. The hard work and organization was appreciated. Drew I did get a bunch of video with the POV cam it will be a week before I will have time to even look @ them

MTU_327PC
You must of came for out 1-2-3 gun. Last year was our first year with experimenting with the idea of a three gun and have come a long way with 3-gun style matches. Now that the club has had it's first true 3-gun, the feed back has been phenominal and we're looking forward to another one next year. A lot of people we're dissapointed that they missed it this year. -Drew

swandme
My Son will be going to College @ Michigan Tech this weekend and you got to love a school with an indoor pistol range in the Student development center Many of the guys who helped put the match together shoot there. I will plan to come up over the fall & Winter to shoot with my son. Dan
Ed-G
I am glad all enjoyed the match and thanks for the kind words. Dan...you looked sharp down at the Hodag Club! Yes my Son won the Piston Kit from Adams Arms, He is looking to get a whole new gun built around it. I think he needs to retrofit his carbine....wonder who is going to win that one! I want everyone to know that Freemans Guns / Northwoods Trading Post in Hancock donated the $100 gift certificate. Rick has a nice store he runs with his family. -Ed
