Bryan 45
I finally broke down and have a 24" Nova coming. I searched through several pages about the Nova, but couldn't find what I was looking for. What Nordic tube gets closest to the end of the 24" barrel? +5 or +6? Thanks!
B_Ayers
I believe it will be a +6 on the Nordic tube. Look on www.cactustactical.com there is a table for barrel length. I have a 21" M2 and the +6 is alittle longer than the barrel. If you have a 24 then you should be flush or almost flush with the end. Bryan 45
Midway has the length chart also, but I don't have the shotgun in my hands yet to measure it. Yes, I'm a little impatient.
Mattog22
It's the +5, that's what I use and it's flush with the barrel. Gives you 9+1 capacity. Edited July 25, 2010 by Mattog22
HRider
On the Nova it is the +5, as the Nova holds 4 in the mag from the factory as opposed to 3 rounds in a Super 90. Go to Nordic's website and look at the length chart. On my 24" Nova the Nordic +5 comes flush with the end of the barrel. It has a 9+1 capacity (I have it plugged to 8+1 for matches that require no more than 9 in the gun) Hurley
Mattog22
HRider, you are correct, I was mistaken. I was thinking it was a 3+1 gun, not a 4+1. The correct tube length would be the +5 extension. Thank you for the correction.

cold
If your using a dremel, be sure to drop out the trigger group/housing from the Nova/Snova before you go removing material around the loading port. I didn't and the result was black plastic material shot all over (and in every crack) in there... I thought I would be able to just use an air blaster to clean it out... wrong. Had to order a few replacement parts from Brownells to finally get things back in working order, that black plastic will gum up the trigger group/lifer etc. Edited July 25, 2010 by cold
Bryan 45
I'm not allowed to own a dremel. The Sheriff said something about National Security.....
HRider
Thanks for the info guys. Now I just have to decide how crazy I want to go w/ the file and sandpaper on the loading port. I didn't get too crazy with opening the port up on mine, it is pretty easy to hit like it is. I did funnel the entrance to the magazine though. There was a vertical section at the top of the mag entrance that would stop a shell quick. As others said, remove the trigger group to file/sand/grind/mill on it to avoid the plastic dust/chips getting into your gun. Hurley
