VTac vs. Blue Force Gear 3gun slings.

Recommended Posts

Anyone care to post a photo of a VTAC installed on a shotgun?

I imagine you are using the AR buttstock adapter.

Thanks

Patrick

Pat,

I use the AR adapter, and a Nordic barrel clamp with a sling swivel stud. Do you still need a photo?

I/We use a 550 cord loop either between the recoil pad (M1) or by ececuting 2 drilled holes at 11:45 and 12:00 of the stock. connection is then the same as AR with HK hook. Very forgiving, very simple and always there.

Seems like an excellent idea.

Based on that thought you could use a Noveske QD mount for a TRX handguard & drill out holes for inside installation on a synthetic shotgun stock.

This might not work but ima try it on an old stock when I get home

The padded VTAC rocks. I use one on the AR and Benelli

How is the sling attached at the front of your shotgun?

I'd be interested in that too.

I use one of these. It sticks out and I just wrap my thumb around it on the left hand side. I have thought about trying it on the right hand side but have not yet. I think it would be more out of the way over there.

+1 on the padded VTAC. I've got a different reason for using the VTAC. Being kind of on the short side (5' 5") I needed something that would cinch up the gun when not in use so that it didn't hit me in the knees. The VTAC met that need.
