The_Vigilante
I just purchased an XD .45 Tactical which I will now be using in ESP/IDPA. I believe it comes stock with an 18-lb spring. I am shooting 230g Precision w/3.5/6g of Clay's. Should I stick with the 18-lb spring or go down to a 16-lb spring? Thanks

The_Vigilante
I haven't chrono'd it yet but is supposed to be approximately 716-725 fps.
ChristianHE
I've been shooting my XD-45 Tactical for a couple of years now, the last year with a Wolff 16lb and their solid guide rod. They gave the gun a better feel, nice smooth cycle. My load has been 200 grain round-nose-flat tip lead (from X-calibers.com) with about 4.9 grains Titegroup, velocity about 850-860. They're only about $19 so get a couple and experiment, cheers! I just purchased an XD .45 Tactical which I will now be using in ESP/IDPA. I believe it comes stock with an 18-lb spring.
