Slugs for FN SLP

so is the barrel smooth or rifled on an fn slp standard?

Have any of you guys done the "barrel bending"?  I have tryed multiple slugs/chokes combos, amd couldnt hit the broad side of a barn.  I read on some forums about old timers bending their barrels to help with accuracy.  So after weeks of messing around, I decided whats the worst that could happen.. I took the barrel off and blasted it agaisnt a tree to adjust.  It actually helped a ton!  Wondering if anyone else has had to do this to their FNs.
