joshua79109
Just to share a little info and see if others are using these and get some opinions. I see quite a few topics discussing mag carriers and just wanted to throw this one up. I've been using these with good luck. I've not broken any yet and I've laid on them while empty. They retain the mag well. I haven't tried running one upside down, but it seems like it could be possible if two bands were used. I've used them on a belt, vest, and drop leg and they work well on all three. It takes metal mags and p mags fine. The p mags hold in a little tighter, but no problems with the metal mags. They can be double stacked. http://www.blueforcegear.com/product.cfm?type=cat&cat_id=6&prod_id=104 - these are the ones I have (above) http://www.blueforcegear.com/product.cfm?type=cat&cat_id=6&prod_id=175 - here is another version that comes with a belt slide Edited April 28, 2010 by joshua79109
Jim_KT
My experiences with the Fast Mag Gen3 products have been positive. Although unconventional in the 3-gun community, I have them on a Blue Force Gear SOC-C MOLLE belt as a quick/dirty method of donning/removing spare ammunition during range sessions and classes. This setup has proved to be effective for my needs and the Fast Mags have taken a beating while getting my shots off in unorthodox shooting positions. One of my Fast Mag fastener "rubber bands" has a good chunk taken out due to debris on a shooting range.
TruePunisher
I like things that attach to my belt with Tek-Loks, but I could see this as useful on a molle belt, vest, or thigh rig. How much of the mag do they cover when inserted 1/2, 1/3?
Jim_KT
Roughly 1/2.
