badmonkey
Hay guys-n-gals I was at a practise match last Friday and as I get home I clean my pistol as always and that's when I noticed a chip on the inside rail of the slide just on the corner of the recess for slide and frame separation. I gave STI a call the fallowing Monday and I was told that a chip on that same spot on the GP-6 slides aren't so uncommon and it is safe to fire.It is on a low pressure place after all . I was given the option to return the pistol but I will miss my Friday practise matches and they do make me so very happy I plan to clean up that chipped spot on my mill and touch it up with a bluing pen this week end.I was wandering if any one has that same prob.Erik Runyan
