JeffWard Posted February 22, 2010 Share Posted February 22, 2010 Mine's been gone 30 months... In my thoughts EVERY day. Yours will too, and soon the tears turn to smiles. Get something of his, near and dear, and carry it, no matter how simple or silly. Mine is a laminated $5 bill... LOL. He'd put it on the poker table every week with the guys he played with, and challenge them to get it from him. He kept it for about 5 years?!? When he passed, my Mom gave it to his best friend, whom he played cards with for years. His friend laminated it, and gave it back to me. I'd starve to death before I tore open that $5 bill... He taught me to golf, taught me to shoot, and taught me a million other things, all more important than either. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
