usmc1974
I have a Gilmore red leader master series red dot sight. Any body know anything about them? Are they any good? Thanks
Chris Christian
I have one of the original ones... maybe 20 years old. Haven't used it in a heavy schedule, but it's a VERY GOOD sight. A bit heavy and bulky when compared to contemporary red dots... but a very solidly made piece of equipment. Chris Christian
pcmunson
I've used a Gilmore on my steel gun since they were initially introduced. One of the brightness settings is getting flakey but the others are still good to go. Early on, they were known for having the brightest and most uniform dot. I've seen Doug Koenig use one until last year when he assigned it to his son. Gilmore no longer markets them. If I recall correctly, Burris took over the design. Jaxshooter
I have two that are Leupold-Gilmore sights. Search Gilmore Sports on the internet for contact info. Hope this helps.
pcmunson
I stand corrected. Leupold did take over the design from Gilmore.
SKR
I have one of those, It came from doug also. I also have it on the same Pardini that he shoots in the Masters. It has been a great scope holds zero I only shoot it once a year and it is always dead on at the 50 meter plates.
