  1. I have had the Wilson Combat AR9 G now for almost eight months and am finding that I can't buy parts to maintain this rifle,in fact many don't even have a part number listed for them. I wanted to get new ejector springs which I was finally able to do by description but they won't send out the "pins" that hold the injector or their proprietary ejector plunger in place. I find that I have one that is loose in the bolt but I would have to send in the rifle for them to review. Now I own several of Wilson pistols as well and this is the first I have ever had a problem with getting parts needed to maintain my equipment and am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this, specifically with regard to the 9 mm AR 9 G rifle? The folks you talk to are all very nice but just say "we don't send out those parts". I have never had a company refuse to send parts out to maintain their product and so am really confused and frustrated. For me to have to send in my rifle to check a pin in the BCG is nothing short of a hassle in my opinion. Now I am very worried about other parts I might need going forward and thought I would reach out to others that might have some insight on this. The only parts listed for sale on their web site are the firing pin and firing pin spring. Thanks. Mike
  2. Like most competitors I have bought a few things from Dawson, sights, magwell and recently some 47d Wilson mags w Dawson basepads. I had issues w the basepads, the holes were too tight I had to chamfer the holes to even get the keeper plates (the little plate that goes under the springs and holds the basepad on). Also on a couple they would spread the mag body enough that they wouldn't drop free. I had to swap em around till the mags mostly worked ok. So I shot Dawson an email told them I wasn't happy. I didn't ask for anything I got a phone call within 24hrs, they explained that they checked into it, Wilson had changed the size of the dimple on that retaining plate. They were going to update their basepads and send me all new ones. Sure enough a week or so later I got a box from them. (I admit I let it sit on the bench a couple weeks I been so busy). I just tried them all, worked perfect! Not a single problem w them going on, staying on, or mags sticking. You can't beat that customer service. Love dawson Red
  3. OK, I have norrowed it down to these barrels. First off, I have a complete lower this upper is going on with the following: - Upper reciever - Low Mass bolt - MI Gen 2 SS handguard - Syrac Ordnance Low Pro gas block - Surefire Muzzle brake So basically I just need the barrel. This will be used for any three gun match I enter, so short and very long shots will be done. I do not want to go with a 18" barrel because I find it is to nose heavy for me (doesn't balance right). These are the barrels that I have found in stock that seem to be quality....input welcomed, please vote. Adam
