I have a CZ 75 Pre B, 1992 model. I think this is call a "transitional" model, because the front sight is removable, unlike the older ones. It runs flawlessly, and doesn't shoot too badly, considering the rough trigger. However, the safety on this pistol is very mushy, and isn't positive enough, no matter if the lever is in the on or the off position. I don't think anyone sells an aftermarket safety for a Pre B. It is quite different than the later models. CZ USA has new safety detents that are supposed to be compatible with a Pre B (Product Number: 0450047001), but I ordered a couple of them, and they aren't quite wide enough to fill the recess in the frame. The recess in the frame measures 0.1975", the original detent measures 0.196", and the new detent measures 0.174". Is there ANYTHING that I can do to make this safety more positive? I'm not sure what to try...
I thought I would share the CZ 75 (pre armorer's manual that I've found. There is some useful information there in case one wants to do some gunsmithing by themselves. Click the DB link. https://www.dropbox.com/s/yphvmphe1e09w6y/cz_75_armourer_manual.pdf?dl=0
