  1. Welcome to Pirates of Texas 1st Annual Veterans Steel Throwdown. This is our annual major steel match where all of the stages will be shotgun, pistol, pistol caliber carbine and rimfire friendly. It will be a Par Time, 7 stage match. Texas Carbine has an experienced & dedicated staff with original challenging courses of fire. See http://www.piratesoftexasmatch.com for more match information. Round count is approximately 180. Be sure to join our email list & forum, so you can receive all match info and announcements, see www.texascarbine.com. The match date is Saturday, November 11th, the day after Veterans day. The match fee is $125.00 per shooter. Early Registration closes on September 30, 2017 and there is a $25 discount for early registration. Early registration payments must be postmarked by 09/30/2017 or full match fee is required. Each competitor who registers before 10/13/17 will receive a match t-shirt and lunch. After 10/13/17 only lunch will be included. We are going to be donating a portion of the match fees to a local Veteran's Charity. The match will be limited to 120 shooters. We think it will be a fun as well as challenging match and we hope many of the Texas shooters will join us. Everyone will shoot with the staff on Saturday. Squading will be first come, first served. This year we will be having boxed lunches from Firehouse Subs at the match so additional lunches will not be available for purchase. However you can pre-order extra lunches. NOTE: Only ONE gun per shooter. General match, with the following divisions: Rimfire Rifle Optic, Rimfire Rifle Iron, Pistol Iron, Pistol Open, Single Stack, Revolver, Rimfire Pistol Iron, Bird Blaster, Shotgun Limited, Real Tactical Shotgun, Shotgun Open, PCC Open, PCC Optic

We have also added an Additional Info Page on our site with some updated information for this year’s match. There is a discount for early registration and the match will be limited to 140 shooters.
