  1. Just got the new P10F and no spare made to be had anywhere in Canada. The P10 mags work in the P09, but not the other way around. But the P09 mags can be converted to work with the P10F with a little metalwork you can do at your bench.
  2. The S2 orange is here and it sure is nice! Better overall feel vs the previous S2 in the grip, better feel on weight distribution. The addition of the 1911 style bushing is a big plus! Only downside as of right now is it didnt ship with a flat safety and has the extended safety oob. Priced at 1999 usd.
  3. Anyone know where I can get one?
  4. Up until today I’d been running Campro 147’s with Vihtavuori N320 through my non-optic ready Shadow 2. I discovered that the Optic Ready isn’t loving that combination quite as much, but it sure does love the 124’s. Making a switch in my reloading as soon as I’ve shot through the 147’s reloads.
  5. Just got my first CZ (shadow custom from CZC). I'm used to loading my 147s to 1.14 OAL for an M&P Pro. Went to reload for the CZ and it wouldn't pass the plunk test with anything longer than 1.09 using BBI 147s. Xtreme and Everglades ammo 147 both pass the plunk test with my normal load at 1.14. I have a case of BBI sitting around and would like to use them, and I've tended to get better accuracy with coated vs plated out of my other guns. Just wanted to see if anyone else is going that short in their shadows? And if so how much are backing off the powder(if any)? I'm using titegroup in these loads. Not looking to ream the barrel just yet. Thanks in advance

    Shadow 2 Optic?

I see on CZ Custom’s website that they do not put their rds plate on a Shadow 2. Any way to get a red dot on one? Thanks, Jeff
  7. I recently obtained my Shadow 2 Optic Ready. I had already purchased 2 Vortex Venom RDS months ago in anticipation for taking possession of the Shadow 2 OR as well as the P10F OR when it’s available in Canada. When I received the Shadow, I went about removing the rear sight plate, not a problem; installing the CZ Vortex Venom adapter plate to the Shadow, not a problem; installing the Vortex Venom to the adapter plate; big problem. The included hardware sunk into the foam, meant to secure the red dot to the adapter plate, did not fit the adapter plate. Try as I might, the bolts would not grab hold. Eventually I pulled out the calipers and started measuring and discovered that the bolts were about 1mm larger than the contact points of the adapter plate and in the right light, I noticed the wear on the ends of the bolts where they were wearing themselves on the surface of the adapter plate. As I had already been playing with the RDS, the box and contents it had contained were thoroughly rummaged in. I decided to open the brand new Venom box to see if the bolts included in there were a different size and that’s when I noticed the baggie labeled GLOCK MOS containing two additional bolts. These fit. So what I had done was stash that baggie under the foam in the original box because I don’t own Glock products (never will) so I figured the baggie with the bolts was of no use, glad I didn’t toss it though. Anyways, I’ve gotten a number of people watching my video on the Shadow 2 optic ready on Youtube, asking me about mounting the Vortex Venom as they are running into the same problem. Not all Vortex Venoms, be it 6MOA or 3MOA are shipping with that GLOCK MOS package of bolts, and you NEED those. I had contacted my retailer of the optic plate and they suggested the problem is with the Venom. The problem is not with the Venom. I think CZ didn’t tap the holes big enough to use the mounting hardware that Vortex provides with all their Vortex Venoms, that being the larger bolts stuck in the foam. If you’re running into problems, you may need to contact Vortex for the smaller bolts. I was at the point where I was going to either tap a larger opening into the adapter plate or reduce the size of the bolts in the foam, fortunately I didn’t have a tap/die set that would work for this and spent the time hunting for what was missing in the install. Good luck and hope this helps!

    SP01 MS recoil buffer

Maybe this has already been answered somewhere, I just couldn't find anything too definitive. I have a SP01 MS that I'm going to experiment with a 11/12 lb recoil spring, and was wondering if a buffer is the way to go for something like long term frame health. I was also wondering if the stock delrin guide rod can be used and what kind of buffers to use and where to get them. Thanks
  9. My search skills are failing me: At some point I had seen a link to animated GIFs of how single and double action 75s work. For the life of me, I cant find the link. If anyone could share again it would be appreciated. Why im looking: With the last round in the chamber and the magazine follower pressing up on the slide lock, my last trigger pull in Single Action wont break. If I apply downward pressure on the slide release lever (round chambered, not locked back) it applies a slight amount of pressure to the trigger bar and Single Action Breaks. The Firearm: CZ SP-01 with a Manual Safety CGW 75115 Production Legal Kit (Self Installed) What I HAVE done: Installed the 75117 Kit I was having an issue where the Double Action would not break, I found a post on here showing where to "heavy polish" a few .001s off the disco wing... problem solved. Fixed a "light strike" issue by learning the importance of properly seating my primers while reloading. Searched the carpet of my living room with a magnet for springs that did not want to stay put. What I HAVE NOT done: Called David at CGW Taken the gun to an actual professional at the LGS I've really loved my SP-01 and installing the Production Legal Kit was a blast. I know the Single Action breaking is related to the trigger bar, im just not sure where. I'm not above actually bringing it to a professional, I just want to take a stab at tuning it myself first. If anyone has any pointers, I'm all ears. Thanks in advance. Cheers!
  10. I picked up some Shooyer's World Major Pistol powder. I plan on shooting 115gn & 125gn Blue Bullets in my CZ Czechmate with a 1.150" OAL. Anyone have any chrono data? I also plan on shooting steel challenge and looking for a light load that will work the comp.
  11. Just came across one of these at LGS. 99041. Anyone know what the story is on these? An overrun that made it to the states? A unicorn or just a horse? Can't seem to find a definitive answer the more i look. Thanks. I was looking at a RAMI but might talk myself into this. Don't want a decocker when I'm used to decocking my Shadow.
  12. Feel free to use my code "polodna" for 10% off. I love saving people money while upping their game with the badest kydex on the planet.

    PT Evo-Like Grips

Hey folks, Is anyone aware of a grip for CZs/Shadow 2 that would mimic the very aggressive feel of the PT Evo grips for 2011s? Handled a friend's 2011 build at a match today and it was exactly what I was working for with those grips - super aggressive. I'm currently running Lok 's S2 Bogies with the texture covering the entirety of the grip (custom order). They are decent, but I would prefer something more aggressive. The CZC lemon graters are pretty solid, although a bit thicker than I'd like. Appreciate the suggestions. Thanks.
  14. I started this sport a little late in life at 49, and now 5 years into it, I can see why they set the age for senior at 55. I can definitely feel old age starting to creep up… Honestly, I always thought it would be great to make Master I but never really thought it would be possible. Last year I made production A class and spent a day and a half with Shannon Smith, and I think reaching Master just may be possible. Although, the recent updates to the classifier high hit factors really hurts… I know it’s generally not recommended, but I’ve started shooting classifiers a lot in practice. Since Master is my goal, it seems to make sense to use classifiers as a benchmark to test myself against and learn from. Not to mention I really stink at classifiers in general… My early live fire training was focused on a lot of field course work. This was really helpful with transitioning from running/moving to accurate shooting modes and seemed to make me fairly successful in matches overall, but I perform poorly in classifiers. Long story short… I need help. I’ve really put a lot of work into getting where I’m at today and improvements seem to be harder to come by. I’ve currently got several issues I’m dealing that I’ll detail in my next post. It really boils down to pride. B class was good, and I’m was super happy when I made A class, but “Master” really sound nice. Master.. master.. maaaasteerr Yea… You guys have been an extremely valuable resource over the years, and I know I’ll benefit greatly from your feedback. I know we all love talking about the sport we love, but detailed replies take a lot of time, so let me go ahead and say how much I appreciate all the help.
  15. I guest ordered a CZ shadow 2, What would you recommend for a holster for a new be guest starting out. I have bigger hand too i noticed people taking about changing grip. what are the changing too? thanks for the help

  17. Hello. I have a DAA PDR-PRO holster (left handed, CZ SP-01 Shadow) purchased in 2014. I want to use it on a Safariland belt using the ELS hooks. Is there a mounting kit, hanger, or something out there for this? Thanks,
  18. I have several CZ and been looking for the Tactical Sport Orange 40SW for sometime now. Do they run in production cycles? Why so hard to find now? Second question is: those that have the 40sw did the 9mm barrel just drop in or did you fit yourself or did you use a gunsmith? Thanks in advance.
  19. I plan to build a CZ P09 for Carry Optics. Settled on using CZC mag extensions but confused about which springs to use. I prefer Grams but cannot find definitive information regarding availability/fit. Willing to use a different type of spring (CZC, Wolff, etc.) but information is scarce/confusing. Anyone running 140mm mags for a P09 with information willing to share?
  20. I’m debating buying a P10c or P07 soonish for carry but I’d like to run it in USPSA limited for fun/practice. i found these extended base plates from Springer for p07/P09 magazines but their product page doesn’t say which magazine they are for. I assume the 17 round p09 magazine? https://shop.springerprecision.com/product.sc?productId=381&categoryId=95 Will that mag extension and a p09 17 round mag work in a p07 or P10c?

    Accu Shadow 2

I've got an Accu Shadow with quite a few miles on it, and have planned to replace it at the end of the year. I really wanted to get another identical Accu, but now that they've come out with the Shadow 2 I think I should make the switch. I just looked on the CZ Custom website and they're selling the Accu Shadow 2 now. That's the one I want. Any idea when it could be approved? How does it work? Seemed like the Shadow 2 made the list pretty fast. Thanks
  22. Fairly new to competitive shooting. Started USPSA last summer with the Wichita Practical Pistol Shooters out of Wichita, KS. I mostly shoot at Range54 for any local guys here. Plan to shoot the Freestate USPSA, Oklahoma Sectional, and Area 3. Can't think of a better way to spend a few days. Always open to any tips, comment, and help along the way. Recently ran my first 4 classifiers and appear to be a C class shooter. I started with a Glock 34 shooting limited minor. Switched over to a CZ CTS .40 in February for major. Still getting used to reloading and shooting .40. So far its been a blast with lots of apparent improvement over the weeks and months. Started reloading last fall with a Dillion 650 and so far have only reloaded 9mm and .40. Just ticked over 10,000 reloads. I'm sure by now the machine has paid for itself. For anyone familiar with the CZC flat trigger, is there a longer overtravel adjustment screw? anyone know the current size and thread pitch of the overtravel screw. I haven't got ahold of the guys a CZ custom to ask, but thought I would ask here. I need more overtravel adjustment.
  23. Which c more 90deg mount is recommended for use on a cz; Tac sport Sp01 75b None are currently drilled Would a cheely 118 be usable on any of them? Tia
  24. Other than the hammer and grips, what is different between them? The ones I'm referring to are the $880 one and the previous SP01 Shadow with thin aluminum grips, comp hammer. Visible differences are hammer, grips, trigger. Am I missing anything else? Is trigger just as good in cheaper one than the more expensive model? I'm trying to decide on which one to get. Cheap one will need thin grips which aren't cheap. Older model is good to go for me. Then there's the Shadow2, which other than weight and aesthetics, needing new holster is really darn good. I'm Shopping around currently and would like to buy one of the 3 within the next week or 2.
