  1. Hey Terry, EGW do a picatinny rail to suit the M3000/M3K part no 80210. Then you can mount any kind of scope to that with a set of rings. As for other parts, they're fairly hard to get a hold of Stoeger specific stuff here is Aus due to not many people modding them here, and as you said it seems in the too hard basket for anyone overseas to send stuff. A lot of gear is no longer ITAR controlled, its now EAR99 which isn't restricted however no one wants to look into it. I would love the lighter weight recoil spring, trigger improvement kit for mine but it didn't make it past the postal service no matter how much I explained to them that it was legal to send springs as they are EAR99.
  2. terrydoc, I got my M3K about a month ago and have been thinking the same, and as a fellow Aussie its hard to find any parts for these. Something you could try is locking the bolt back, which would compress the recoil spring, then leave it in the safe for a while which would soften the spring up a bit (happy to be told that's incorrect though), its a rather heavy action as standard, also have you polished the mag tube that the spring rides on? This will help smooth up the action a bit but not necessarily make it lighter. One of MOA's light recoil springs would be a great addition, along with a trigger spring kit. Looking into the possibility of getting that sent to Australia, its taken a lot of research to make sure its not breaking any laws, but now just need to get it sent.
