  1. YOU cast the first stone by taking a potshot at a personal friend of mine (VP) and now you want to take the high road? Give me your address and I'll send you a box of tissues.
  2. The facts are that all you ever do is complain about and criticize everything to do with IPSC, and you have a huge bug up your a$$ about VP. Really pitiful!
  3. So now you're calling Vince Pinto a liar?
  4. I see the smilies but I think you really believe the propaganda. Websters says "premiere" means "first in position, rank, or importance" and I'd buy that "in the USA" but no way that's true for "in the world" just like the baseball "world series" has nothing to do with "the world". The US lost it's dominance in IPSC a long time ago. Get over it. A French kid has been Open world champ for 10 years, the last 3 Open ladies world champs have been two Filipinas and a German, the Modified word champ is Filipino and the Production world champ is a Czech. The US rules Standard and Revolver but I wonder for how much longer? I love America and Americans but BS is BS!
  5. I just visited the uspsa nationals website http://www.uspsa-nationals.org/ and the first line says "The USPSA Championship Matches are the premiere practical shooting events in the world". Don't they mean "in the USA"? Did the person who wrote that fluff ever hear of the world shoot?
  6. Don't bother asking the Philippines - we're not interested in having colonial masters again Come visit us some day. We just had our Nats with 500 shooters in a beautiful valley range.
  7. I recently did a rules refresher course with Vince Pinto and he spoke about the 2006 IPSC rulebook which has two new rules to deal with people in wheelchairs. The first one is -- 8.6.1.1 Competitors confined to wheelchairs or similar devices may be given special dispensation by the Range Master in respect of mobility assistance, however, the provisions of Rule 10.2.11 may still apply, at the Range Master's discretion. but I can't find the other one right now. I just found the other one -- 5.2.8.1 Competitors deemed by the Range Master to be permanently and significantly disabled may be given special dispensation in relation to the type and/or placement of their holster and related equipment, and the Range Master will remain the final authority in respect of the safety and suitability of using such equipment at IPSC matches.
  8. So all that's being shown are changes made to a document we haven't seen yet? Boy, is that screwed up or what? That's like reading the amendments to the constitution without seeing the constitution!
  9. What makes you think you have to do anything to your gun?
  10. Really? Which match in Ohio did you find boring? I've been to the matches in Quincy but never set foot in Ohio. Have you seen the matches in the Philippines?
  11. Why would we want to shoot matches in Ohio? IMHO, our matches are far more exciting. The match in Cebu 2 weeks ago had over 500 competitors. And our Area matches on the average get 300 competitors. Not bad for a small region and when you consider that the USPSA Nationals only gets just over 350 competitors. Besides, most Filipinos would like to shoot the USPSA Nats but what chance do we have of getting a slot when Eric G. couldn't even get one for himself. No chance for us small guys.
