  1. Greetings, Eric!

I'm new to the forum (although I've been casually stalking for a couple of years)-- so please forgive me if this is an improper solicitation.

I was wondering if you still had / make T1 style barrels for the SteelMaster?  I'm looking for a replacement barrel that I can have chambered for .38 Super Comp.

    Thank you, sir!

Christian, I did not make it today but it will go out tomorrow for sure. I had a tree fall on the driveway I had to clean up. Thanks, Eric

No not a 993 but old 911's that are aircooled. I have not raced SCCA or Porsche club in a quite a few years now. I can do Paypal friend or family so no fee to me or regular Paypal and add 4%. Cashiers check or money orders will also work. I do have a BMW but it is a motorcycle G650GS.

Hello, I will have to check to see if I have a couple left. These are STI barrel blanks(Wilson/Nowlin ramp) that I have cut my design of comp into them. If you do a search on here you should be able to see my design and how it works for those that have used them. It will work for 9mm and 38 just as well. Thanks, Eric

Hello: Another option is buying a slide with the sight cut you want. I went with a Brownells RMR G17 slide and I am so happy with it I actually bought another one for a spare. It did not cost much more than what people are charging for cutting the slide alone. So with my G17 I slide one slide off and it is now a Production legal pistol. One pistol two division ready in less than 10 seconds. I forgot to add I did have a G34 MOS and prefer the custom slide more. Thanks, Eric"

Eric, I bought a Saurez International slide milled for RMR and want to put a Holosun on it. What screws did you use to mount your Holosun on your Brownell slide?

I bought the Holsun because of reading your posts and some other stuff.

Hello, you will have to check your slide to get the correct screws. Ace Hardware have a pretty good selection of screws and bolts.

  10. Hello Aircooled, how did your experiments go on the buffer, buffer spring bolt impulse work out? I was also working on felt recoil in my AR by adding extra springs to compress after the buffer spring compressed. By the way, my pcc sbr is an AR .45 Olympic upper bbl/bolt  with a CNC greasegun mag lower. If you go to the Olympic Arms OA2 website you can find a big thread about my experiments. I don't know if the dif in calibers negates any comparison between what we've done but I would still be curious.

Hello: Blitzkrieg is a hydraulic buffer system that some are using in there AR's. In your PCC you may want to try some lighter bullets in the 155 grain range. Thanks, Eric

Hello: I have tested the Blitzkrieg setup with a friend of mine here. It is pretty damn flat and soft shooting. I am going to try some other stuff with my JP buffer setup this week. I think with a 45acp you would want a light bullet going a little quicker to reduce the recoil impulse time. I am a competition shooter so splits and hits on target are very important to me even if the recoil is a little harsher. Not too harsh since I have a bad shoulder and I am a recoil wimp. Thanks, Eric

  13. Hello. Im in the process of gathering parts for a 6" sti build on a standard length frame in 9mm for multigun.  I have never handled a 6" pistol.  I seen a picture you posted a few years back of the "glimmer twins" one a fluted bull barrel and the other a bushing. Would like to know what you thought of each and how they handled compared to an Edge or similar. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks, Jess

Hello: I like a bushing barreled 6" pistol the best. Lighten the slide to 12.5ozs with firing pin and extractor installed. Accuracy is easier with the 6" gun over that of a 5" for me. I am building a 5 1/2" pistol right now with a bull barrel. Should be interesting. Thanks, Eric
