When shooting my SIG's I use the same thumbs forward grip as I use when shooting a Glock or a 1911. My thumb does rest on the slide lock and seeing that I use the slide lock lever as just that it is an administrative tool for me. I got a license for a dremmel tool and cut them all off really short with just enough latch fo rme to to intentionally lock the slide to the rear if i need to. Use a little Birchwood Casey Buleing Pen on the end of the cut and problem solved.

I am going to go back to shooting my 45 a lot more now that a buddy gave me a Dillon Loader set up for 45ACP. The question is which one do I have? I cannot find any model number on the press. The loader works but I would like to order some parts and make sure everything is good to go before hand. I have a good idea it is a 550, would it make a diffrence if it is a 550, 550B or what else could it be?
