That what I use also for 230fmjs. Nice accurate load and very soft recoil.

I use 4.2grs under a 230 LRN projectile. Soft shooting, not too smokey and very accurate.

4.8 made major for me out of a 5 inch Gov't Model. It was soft shooting and accurate, a little dirtier than WST but not that bad.

Once a year.

230gr LRN over 4.2grs of Winchester WST. Soft shooting and accurate.

I will be shooting the NC IDPA championship in Boone NC. The elevation there is 3300ft and the temps are 10-15 cooler than where I live. My CDP load makes 175pf when I chrony'd at 80-85 degrees temp. Will my loads be ok at higher elevation/lower temps or should I load some a little hotter?
