Thank you for the reply. I run a few cmore railways on other guns. Ive had good luck with them so far. Ive had one halosun so far that died pretty quick but they replaced it pretty quick so no complaints. I cant wait to try this thing with an optic.

2019 ish. It says heavier duty electronics and will time out and turn itself off with inactivity then wake up when moved.

Are you running Rts2 v5’s or a previous version? It seems a lot changed with v5. Thanks for your help.

The 160’s are exactly what i use. Its great to hear it can handle the pin loads. At some point id like to try it. Just havent messed with any yet.

I doubt i can find it at this point. Stuff breaks. I have a bunch of other vortex stuff. Never held it against them. It was a unique way for it to go. Ive had a halosun have the center dot die but the large outer ring work fine in the middle of a match. I have interesting luck with that stuff. i had read it made a difference but have zero experience with it personally.

Correct. The dot is still visible but not centered and it can not be re zero’d. There are no marks on it and i dont remember hitting it. It seems something inside either shifted or let go. It was the 3moa version. ive been looking but couldnt find much revolver specific info. Wasnt sure if being frame mounted vs slide would make a difference.

Thank you. I appreciate the feedback. I will take a look at the vortex as well. I have an older vortex on a pcc and it lost its zero. Ive also had a halosun die. Seems like they all have trade offs. Good info since you have run them on that pistol. Matt

I had found the info in some other forum from yrs ago. If the Dawson's dont work the williams lined up great. Only fitting on mine was removing a tiny amount of the black coating. Like you it was a struggle to find a fiber optic front for that thing. Good luck

I have a williams firesight rifle bead on mine. Not sure the dia of fiber but it fits right in and worked great for $19. #56435-343N is the model. I ordered from ktp.com.

Does anyone have any experience running a cmore RTS2 or halosun 507c on a smith and wesson 627 v comp? Looking to add one for shooting OSR in SC. Also open to suggestions of better options. I prefer larger glass but something like the sro is double the price right now. Thanks in advance.
