2013 USPSA Revolver Nationals
colt replied to Carmoney's topic in Revolver Match Announcements and Discussions
If your looking to get practice in at a level 2 before the S/S, Rev Nationals The Indiana SS/Rev/Prod Championship is putting out a feeler out there on if some people would like to shoot Saturday for score and maybe switch divisions and shoot for fun on Sunday. Get some good practice in for the Single Stack, Revolver Nationals. Send a e-mail to Jake Martens jakemartens@comcast.net or Brent Roberts brentroberts40@gmail.com -

Jake just added to the prize table for the Indiana SS/Rev/Prod Championship The Indiana Section will donate 3 free slots to the Indiana USPSA Section Championship that is in July for the High Overall Winners in each division (meeting recognition requirement) This is a $100 per entry value ... SS/Prod/Rev match still has remaining just 20 slots on Saturday and 39 on Sunday Brent

2013 Indiana Single Stack/Production/Revolver Championship current online squadding http://www.uspsa.org/squadding/index.php?action=list&indx=243 leaving only 62 slots left for the match. So to fill those last 62 slots we are pushing the late fee back to April 20th!! Entry will remain at $75 till April 20th and the remaining 62 slots are first come first serve, cannot hold anything. I can except paypal ( jakemartens@comcast.net ) and email all the entry info to get registered the fastest. Here is where we stand Prodution A =3 B =9 C =14 D =5 GM =1 M =3 U =7 Total =42 Revolver A =6 B =6 C =2 D =1 M =2 U =1 Total =18 Single Stack A =13 B =22 C =25 D =7 M =1 U =8 Total =76 (After April 15th we will run the latest USPSA Classification so this could change) Single Stack and Revovler competitors this is you chance to shoot a major before the Nationals, which is the reason we picked these dates. Production guys numbers are down this year This will be the 5th year in a row for this match, little bit of history 2009 Riley Conservation Club (rained, snowed and was spring all at the sametime) Prod=60 won by Bob Vogel SS=48 Won by Tony Hawkins (HOA for combined) 2010 Warsaw Rifle & Pistol Club (added revolver because Brent Roberts begged me) Prod=67 won by Micah Barcelo (last thing he won) SS=60 Won by Matt Cheely 72 point lead Rev=5 John Blackwell (Caleb "Top Shot, 5 Gun Master" Giddings was 4th 75%) 2011 Atlanta Conservation Club (match moved to the fall) Prod=83 Tony Hawkins (only person to win both SS and Production.) SS=68 Matt Trout 68 point lead Rev=9 Chad Rausch 72 point lead 2012 Atlanta Conservation Club Prod=78 Alex Gutt stomps a mudhole in the competition SS=54 Matt Trout repeats with a 257 point lead (Jake Martens was 78%) Rev=9 John Blackwell comes back with a 2nd win 2013 April 27-28 Warsaw R&P Club match moves back to spring, before the Rev & SS Nationals Who is going to win the divisions this year? you ever have anything stolen out of your bag at a match?
colt replied to ProGunGuy's topic in IDPA Shooting
.. In the lines of this I had a old timer tell me that they use to make a 38 super up with black powder and put in the buddy's ammo. Not sure what would happen. Not sure if they were buddy's after either.Brent -

I cast and load my own slugs that I used in 3 gun. They load in a AA hull and you can't tell them apart from a shot load. I shot a slug stage and I started with 25 loaded in a normal shotgun box. After we scored the targets whats was left of the box, maybe 15 rounds was missing from the table were we started. No was paying much attention to me that my rounds was missing till I said they were slugs and someone was going to shoot a steel target with them. One guy all the sudden started going through his round trying to sort out the slugs. Lesson for me too. I started loading slugs in gold hulls. Shot red. Brent -
We are having one at the end of Feb. RO class is at 25 ,not bad but the CRO is 12 ,could be better. I charge more than the other clubs but needed to make sure the cost of the class is covered. Good luck at your class!! Brent
