  1. Mine come together on my left side. Where the inner belt stops the out belt starts .
  2. I took the same class with fourtrax and have to say it sould help a "B" shooter like me start moving up some. Thanks Matt.
  3. I shoot at 3 clubs that stack a few tires up behind a target with a few layers of carpet on the tires to catch anything that would comeback. They use this when a bullet will hit on flat ground in stead of the bank. I have never heard of any ricochets yet.
  4. I tried it and it worked fine. We were ask if we would like to set a stage up at a match they call the "21st Territorial Match'' at Bend or the River club. It is not a USPSA match but its ran safety Wise like one . Are stage is 38 rds. with the 2 stars and they will be spinning opposite directions when you get to them. It a fun match were clubs bring a stage to that club and set it up. This was are first year as a USPSA club and got ask if we would like to set a stage up. It took about 3 seconds of thinking and said "YES". Come out and try it this Sunday at Bend of the River club in MI.
  5. Do you work at NASA on the side !! Thats a casters dream !!
  6. Magma Engineering magmaengr.com I have a star sizer with the air cylinder !! Well worth it !! I use 2 20 lb. lee pots and 4 cavity seaco molds .One pot to cast off the bottom and the other to clean it. Bye the time I cast enough bullets off the one pot the other is cleaned and ready to cast , then I scope it over all ready melted. No loss of time waiting on pot to heat up. You will save at lot more time on sizing with a star sizer. Straight through sizing.
  7. Part of this topic is from are AREA match. They only gave plaques out to first place . There were 19 shooters in limited "B" and open "C" and only first place got plaques. Some were a little disappointed when they got 2nd with 19 shooters in there class and no plaques. A lot of us can't afford to take off for the nationals ,so this is as close as we get. When you get 2nd your happy but nothing to show for it. I think it cost $100. to enter but maybe with everything going up in price maybe there is not enough money for plaques .The people that got plaques got first class plaques and I am sure they were not cheap. I would rather have a plaque over a coffee cup. Don't drink coffee. Entry fee for next year is good too for winners .
  8. I shoot 4.0 GR. Bullseye in 38 brass. 158 RN that I make out of wheel wights .About 140 power factor out of my 686 with 6'' barrel for ICORE .
  9. I am not from Ohio or Michigan but you guys came to are state match in Indiana . I found 1 other to help share the gas . 2 maybe 3 from Indiana are coming. Not sure what to shoot, rev. or open ? Will mail the entry in Monday. How much is the match hotel going for 1 night?
  10. I have a 6 shot 686 that is and a 7 shot 686+ that I won with the 6 shot ,both moon clipped by BC Armory in MI. I have won limited class in the ICORE Wheelgunner's Revenge in MI. 3 years in a row with them. There are a lot 625's in that match. But you do have to shoot minor in USPSA ( just shoot A's ) . I think you could make major but it wouldn't be fun to shoot .
  11. Put your primmer rod in the tube before you pull the pin. It will push them down . My 650 will do it on the last primmer unless I do that.
  12. Great , Then will try it . Some hate that star and now theres going to be 2 of them . I hope they come back !!LOL
  13. Did the bullets bounce off the first star and knock plates off the back star ?
  14. Anyone ever put 2 Texas stars in line . I was think of trying this and painting a couple plates as no shoots on the front and maybe one on the back star. Would this cause too many reshoots ? or is it legal ? Thanks
  15. try calling Target Sports 317-758-5886 or target-sports@hotmail.com. They pay sales tax on instore items except ammo if you show your uspsa card. 408 South Main Street, Sheridan , IN . They shoot at Atlanta , Indiana a lot. Not sure what they keep in stock but worth a e-mail and find out.
  16. My brothers wife was vacuuming is closets that he reloaded in and suck up a primmer and set it off in the spinning part . It was a cheap vacuum and was the end of it. She was not happy ! Mine is in the basement with no problems . I use a air powered vacuum on powder.
  17. I got mine at the local dairy . Some kind of chemical was in them that they use. They were free !!
  18. A 1050 is not life time warranty. I have only one 650 for all calibers that I load (9mm to 223) and it has over 100,000 Rd's thought it and everything that has broken was in the spare parts kit. Buy the spare parts kit with the press. Then call Dillon and they will send you the part to put back in your spare parts kit.
  19. I ordered on Sunday and it was on my door Tuesday. Can't ask for any better than that !!
  20. I have wanted to shoot open for a long time but couldn't afford a good race gun. I finally got a Bedell this winter and plan on a lot of fun this summer with it. It just looked like a lot of fun shooting a top fuel race gun .
  21. the blue c-more hasent distracted me yet but I have only shot it 100 rds. untill tomarrow then I will shoot some more. I never thought about asking about the blue +1 bases. O-well Dan did a great job. Chuck was very helpfull, when you e-mail either of them with a question ,you will get a e-mail back .
  22. mine came today and boy is it a shooter !! First 100 rds. and not even a burp. with mixed brass. With HSITH mags. You won't regret ordering it .
  23. I too have a bedell on the way but mine should bedone this week . The longest 4 months I have ever had. With a little luck , next week I will be basting a new 5'' 9mm open gun. Try not to think about your gun , It might go faster !! Like that is possible
  24. Thanks for the offer on the barrel but I think I will take your other advice and not use it. Maybe I can talk my wife in to letting me have the tax refund for another gun !!!
  25. Can you hurt the fine accuracy of a 20'' bull barrel of a AR shooting 3 gun stages. I shot some good groups for me at 100 and 200 yards . It is my first AR and I never thought I could ever shoot it like that. Some have told me it would hurt the accuracy of the barrel shooting a big stage if it gets hot. Its the end of Jan. and I feel sorry for the ground hogs around here already !!
