  1. They are needed if you're going to use 10-8s magwell. TTIs will work with it as well.
  2. I ordered the Safariland 7377-819-411 holster for my M&PL 9mm. I used the Holster Finder from Safariland's website to get the specific model/nomenclature. The holster finder shows this holster is available for the M&PL however not the M&P 9mm Pro 5". http://holsterfinder...s/Details/10262 Today I received the holster and it doesn't fit the M&PL however does fit my M&P Pro. It's my understanding the slides have a slightly different profile. I called Safariland today and basically the woman argued with me that it would fit my M&PL (as I was sitting at the dining room table with both models and the holster.) Supposedly she is contacting their designers who will be in contact. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Aside from it not fitting it's intended gun I think this will be a great 3 Gun holster with the ALS for those wanting more retention. Thanks Nick
  3. posted in wrong forum. Sorry.
  4. Just for clarification... The aluminum AEK trigger has a lighter pull than the poly all other things being equal as in the CAEK/RAM etc? Thanks Nick
  5. Replace comp striker spring with stock. Good luck.
  6. Did you get your scope yet? If so how is the MRAD reticle? Thanks
  7. Will there be an opportunity to zero rifles prior to match as I will be flying in from Colorado. Thanks Nick
  8. Same question. For someone who has installed one not read the website.
  9. Any ETA for the VMR Mil reticle? Thanks Nick
  10. Noveske supplies it with barrel I think. KACs also may have one.
  11. Noveske has made 16" barrels for MSTN with an intermediate gas system. Slightly shorter than rifle gas system but longer than mid length. A friend has one and if works fine with 55 gr 193.
  12. Mile High Shooting Supply has x2 on the wall. Right outside Denver CO.
  13. Mystery Ranch. American made in Bozeman Montana. Military, hunting, wild land fire and backpacking/hiking specific lines. Expensive but worth every penny.
  14. What needs to be fitted and how does this effect reliability? Thank you. Nick
  15. They are still in business. Try calling or hit them up on Facebook. They have a 16" barrel with intermediate gas system that is made by Noveske. Good luck.
  16. Send it to SW. They will replace it for free. You should not have to go out of pocket for a defective pistol. After they replace the SHB consider others causes if problems persist. Nick
  17. Thanks for all the answers. Ive shot had more or less the same results with AE 115s gr, AE 124 gr, WWB 115 gr and the Freedom Munitions 115 gr. The main reason I went with the Dawson's was to give me flexibility in regards to ammo considering how hard it is to source a consistent load. The gun has always shot low hence the lower front sight and having to elevate the rear. Do you guys think the front is fit correctly considering how high it sits in the dovetail, the gap between the bottom of the sight and the bottom of the dovetail as well as the blade not sitting flush on the slide? Thanks again. I really appreciate all your guidance. Nick
  18. Several weeks ago I ordered a Dawson Adjustable Rear and .305 FO front for my M&PL. I ordered the .305 front per the recommendation of SSS. After having the sights installed by a gunsmith I had to raise the rear to a ridiculous level to zero the gun. I could see light below the rear sight. I called Dawson who advised the .285 front was needed and they very graciously sent me a new front sight. I took the gun back to the gunsmith and had the new front installed. I went and rezeroed the gun and the rear sight still seems to be elevated high however I no longer saw light leaking in under the sight picture. After some further evaluation it appears the front sight is sitting high in the dovetail. Is this normal or an improperly fitted front sight? Also, could the sight sitting high in the dovetail be contributing to what I consider the rear sight being elevated in a high position. This whole episode is getting rather frustrating and expensive as the gunsmith has charged me 40 dollars for each install and I feel it's still not correct. If you guys have any guidance I would appreciate it. Ammo is Freedom Arms 115 grain FMJ @ 20 yds. Thanks Nick
  19. Hey Nick, the spring just sits in the base pad. Catch plates aren't used. That goes for the TTIs and TF. Thanks Mike!
  20. Quick question about the TTI base pads. Do you use the butt plate catch plate or just let the spring rest into the bottom of the base pad? Thanks Nick
