one-legged jack

It's my fault...there i said it.i bumped my pact bbk rather rudely.it fell off loading table.i did manage to catch it as it hit carpet,but i'm now getting the (in)famous "err 2" msg and it's sat..pact is closed.anybody remember what the cure is..seem to remember this problem 4-5 years ago and it had something to do with pressing several buttons simultaneously.any help much appreciated
