  1. Not many people have their hands on a ultralight Jp5 yet. I’m getting mine in a week or so and will be able to test a multitude of locking pieces with factory ammo so I will get back with the info if I remember.
  2. I believe the thing that these clubs are doing is running a consistent amount of high quality matches. As a match director, I found that most people likely to come back to a match if it is on the same weekends or days. They know ahead of time that they can’t plan anything that day because there’s a match, even if that match isn’t on the calendar yet.
  3. PSA: USPSA is doing prorated refunds for any unused membership if you upgrade to lifetime. They decided at the recent BOD minutes that they’ll do refunds.
  4. JP safety’s that are installed from the factory with a JP trigger will not work with after market triggers without modification to the safety
  5. I see no purpose to add more divisions into SCSA. On the contrary I would much rather see a condensing of divisions to make it a more competitive sport. For LO specifically, we’ve already got open and carry optics both of which can be shot minor only. I can shoot a LO gun just as fast as open. There is no need to further dilute the divisions.
  6. 3 is a pile? I should say 2 and a half because one of the the timers that works doesn’t have any screen. It’s either AMG or the CE pro timer BT. Don’t like the pro timer? Wait a year for the AMG. Don’t like the AMG? Buy a dated brick for a timer.
  7. Not unusual for the AMG timers. Although this is the longest that the queue has gotten. Seems like the owners motto is suck it up and wait since he’s the only one that has a good practiscore syncing timer. The real problem here is that practiscore isn’t adding any new timers to the Bluetooth list till their new v2 update which seems like it won’t be out for a while.
  8. A step closer to perfection so far this summer. Shot a PB at the world speed shoot with rfro and then shot another one at area 3. But the true eye opener for me was recently at area 5 steel challenge championship. 55.38 PCCO, 56.68 RFRI, 58.69 RFPO, and 59.07 RFRO. I’ve been thinking about what has changed between last year and now, because I’ve practiced almost the same from last year. Pure and simple, I’ve shot so many majors now, that I lack and form of pressure. And secondly, I’ve become very confident in my ability’s to shoot consistently. It’s become a slippery slope of confidence. The more confident I am, the better I shoot, the better I shoot the more confidence I have. If you want to get better, find confidence in yourself somewhere, and build off of it. If you lack confidence, you may never succeed.
  9. Thank god they kept it to quarter second intervals. But over all this is a pretty minor change that isn’t going to affect much of anything. GM is still too easy to achieve in my opinion. I think we need an S tier ranking for the top 5% or if your on the top 20 list. It would add more reasons for people to push their times more.
  10. Go with the JP rifles 22 if you want the pinnacle of reliability
  11. It’s not a cased firearm after they open it again like that.
  12. AKT1 Sports have been amazing for me, and extremely comfortable. The biggest reason why I use them it because they make hits on steel extremely audible for steel challenge. So long as you don’t crank them to max volume, you won’t hear too far away. And they do compress sound when you’re close which muffles voices, but it’s not a jarring experience. Pretty smooth and isn’t annoying.
  13. If you can find them, Atlas makes a great high ride safety. Mine dropped into two of my Ps without issues.
  14. Without going into the details, I’ve had similar experiences.
  15. I've got a Sat PM slot that I'll trade for Sun PM if you want. Send me a message if you want to do that.
  16. I haven't messed around with it much, but currently 147s
  17. Ive never used one but they are a good simple drop in option. I got mine ported and it's been great so far. Only good stuff from DSC. You can also ask him to do a two port 9mm comp if you want more.
  18. Romeo 3XL or MAX. Big window on a small footprint with a clear dot thats more than bright enough. Price is the worst part, but Sig has great warranty service.
  19. I'm looking for a simple and easy to use soft case for Steel Challenge rifles. I've currently got the Tandemkross cases, but they are bulky. Pretty much looking for that same thing but slimmed down a bit. What's everyone using?
  20. Where does it say stand and shoot? Normally these matches are more like a USPSA match.
  21. I had one of mine mounted to a Volquartsen pistol and always used a cover when bagging it. A little chip on the glass occurred around the top and sent to Sig and got a new one back in about 2 weeks. They even tell you to keep the mount and battery trays etc, everything but the optic itself. VERY please with the RMA process and will continue to use these dots even if they are a tad fragile.
  22. If you don't mind the wait time and lack of responsiveness from the owner, AMG commander timer is 100% the way to go.
