  1. THANK YOU SAM AND EVERYBODY ELSE!! it was a great match and i cant thank everyone enough!! i will do my absolute best at bali to represent each and everyone of yall and everybody else in the shooting world!! lets bring home the gold!!
  2. the follow in the mag getting stuck at the bottom with more than 21 rounds in a 140mm tube is a common problem.. changing to a dawson basepad will not solve that problem, i've tried it. after the 21st round the follow goes below the rib of the magazine and can fall sidways. i use grams guts and 11mm basepad on my 140mm mags. as for the big stick i have found that the dawson follows are worthless. you can only get 25-26 rounds no matter wut spring, i have tried that to. i have found that using grams guts and a 4mm basepad on the big stick, i get 28+1 and never fails. also shoot supercomp shane c
  3. jake the powder measure didnt move. we measured it when i got back home. they were asking for new sun screens for the chrono and i think that might be the reason why.. bad chrono. see the same thing happend to BJ Norris. his pf went from 172 normal down to a 162 out there.

    ion bond

i've heard recently of ion bond and i would like to know exaclty what it is in relation to hard chrome or teflon. is it worth having over the other 2? wut exactly is it? any thought would be apprecitated!
  5. i live in mississipi with hot weather and high humidity. i worked up a load with 7625 at a 171 pf in the colder months. went to arizona to shoot the world shoot qualifier and chronoed a 161. how in the world does my fps drop 70-80fps?? 80 degrees in arizona at the time by the way
  6. Tim Thompson at Bill's Custom Automatics in shelby, MS. he built my gun and i have yet to have a malfunction with it. he has fast build time and good quality pistols.. give him a call shane coley
  7. i shot this one yesterday. first time shooting it with an open gun. 2.14 sec/29pts/13.52hf for 94% i believe. .91 draw. was very happy with this run shane coley
  8. i had this same problem on my 1050. wut happened was the low primer alert had slid up on the priming tube and caused the finger that worked the slide to stop working. we had to push the lever all the way down and move the assemble back down on the tube so the finger fit back into the notch and then tighten it down again. and bingo we back in business. shane
  9. My dad ordered himself an edge from sti. it has not run right since day one. actually he has stopped shooting it all together. but he spent the money for a custom limited gun for me and i have yet to have a malfunction coming up on 20K rounds. i would go with a custom gun anyday over a factory because of the fit and it is built to your standards. shane coley
  10. hey all, im an open rookie so i need to know what a good starting load would be with IMR 4756 out of a 5" trubor s-2 comp with 2 poppleholes running a 124 gr bullet. all post will be greatly appreciated!! thanks!! shane coley
  11. hey Mr. Bob will you guys still be going to Florida Open in 2007. I talked to BJ at area 4 but he didnt say. I think we are going to go but still deciding. looking forward to talking with you again!! Shane Coley. P.S. sorry about everything that has happened, my dad really was looking forward to meeting you at Gator.
  12. guys i just wanted to let you know how great of a guy Mr. Bob is. I was at his table at nationals all the time talking to him about his guns and he explained everything to me. He also helped me out while shooting (we were squadded together!). I unfortunately had to shoot a stage 3 times due to steel but Mr. Bob was talking with RO's trying to get me a reshoot and im just some little dude he doesn't even know. Wow!! what a guy!!! Within the next year i will more than likely be purchasing one of his pro sx's. shot his gun and was amazed how well it felt. Thanks again Mr. Bob for everything and will talk to you as soon as i see you again. p.s. missed you at Gator!!
  13. i would like to say that the double impact class with M2 and TT was AWESOME. i having just made M in production thought i could really use some help now that i am in the big leagues. max and travis were so cool to be around always ready to answer questions and help in any way they could. since going down there i feel i shoot much better, faster, and more accurate. i would reccomend this class to anyone in IPSC. you will not make a better investment. it is WELL WORTH the money and time. thanks again to Mr. Daniel for allowing it to be put on and Max and Travis for coming down. shane coley
  14. thanks for the info TMC!!! i shot and one with a 4 port hybrid barrel and one without and found that the hybrid tracks up and down more consistent with less muzzle flip. dot never left scope. i think i am going to go with the hybricomp. thank you so much, shane
  15. im building an open gun and was wondering if the hybricomp barrel is a good option. ive never had any experience with open so i need some of you good smart open blasters to help me out =). thanks a million shane
