  1. Hello All, I was having a problem with primer jamming up in my preload primer tubes as well. I came onto this very forum and read most of the post. Then the little light bulb went off in my head. Could this be a primer problem? Turns out after some examination, and some head scratching I am having this problem with primers that have went through the loader already. These are big pistol primer, and I did know I had small primer casings mixed in with the big primer casings( APC .45). So, you go to seat your primer and it won't go into the littler hole and slightly deforms the primer to the point when you go to reuse it, and they getting jammed in the tube. I found this because there were three or four of the sitting at an angle instead of flat on the table. The crimp that holds the explosive part of the primer gets a little damage and it won't lay flat so, when you put it in the tube, it's going in at and angle and can't help but get jammed. I put all the primer I was trying to reuse and set them aside, grabbed a brand new box, and never had one issue. I will reuse these others, but I'll have to put them in individually by hand. From here on out I guess I need to pay a little more attention to the casings and separate them. That was my issue. Hope this helps and it's what's going on with you.
