I have been using my glock 20 in Limited fo rquite some time now. Almost 2 years ago I put a "Ultimate overtravel stop" and a reduced striker spring, and reset spring and a light striker block spring, great trigger but only some federals would light off. I polished the heck out of all the internal parts using a dremel and polishing compound. it was super smooth and lit off federals no problem! Winchesters were hit or miss on lighting off. I made sure it was clean and the stiker channel was unobstructed and free of oil and debris. Problem still exhisted. I removed all of the aftermarket parts with the exception of the overtravel stop and the problem still exhists. I have probably put close to 20k through my glock in 10mm and in 40 combined (I have a 40 barrel). Does anyone know of any problems being caused by this and what can i do to fix it and still have some sort of overtravel stop. I have seen the Jentra's but I do not like the looks of them. I know alot of people with the Ghost Rocket and they like it, I am pretty good with a file and I have a pretty good grasp on gunsmithing (have built a few AR's a Para hi-cap from the frame kit, and a regular govt 1911. Any help is appreciated!

New trigger bar is about 20 bucks anywhere on line just as long a s you buy a stock unit. I have heard of many people shooting their Glocks without the striker safety but I have not run like this. Most people do not do this to defeat the safety for that reason they defeat it to imporove their trigger pull. My reccomendation would be use another gun in bear country and if you cant use any other gun then take the plunger out and function test it. If it does not affect your function then you should be good to go but remember dont shoot a person with it the Lawyers will have a hayday with that!

I am leaving tomorrow for a 3 month deployment. I am going out to sea on one of the Subs that we work on. The reason that this is in the What I like forum is because of all the extra pays I will be getting I should be able to get a few new toys when I get back... and that means I need a new Safe too! Working on my part to make this a better number just bought a keltec p11 for carry and a Rem 700 PSS in 308. but i cant have fun with them till december cause i leave for my underwater duties on tuesday! bummer! at least it will be tax free pay till dec!

I fly on United, Ted and Star Alliance group planes They only serve actual food to the first class passengers and they wake you up to give you the food too! I cant complain cause my frequent flier miles let me upgrade a lot!

Not a revo shooter but all the Revo shooters I know are using Fed primers cause they are the softest. Again could be all cold here. I know that when you lighten the trigger on a glock and use the factory striker you get the same problem, light strikes, use Federal Primers, CCI are the hardest cups.

Last time I saw Tom he was talking about being in the sandbox making alot of tax free money for a year or so. I wanna say it was sept PB match last year. I could be way off though.

The nearest one is almost an hour away from where I work, and 45 min or so from my house! When I do get a chance to go down there, I wait in line to get a fresh one.... MMMMMM MMMMM those are the best!
