+1 on Green Mountain barrels. I love my 18" 1-7 with a Wylde chamber.

I think Tru-Grip was cut from Negative One tape. The tape is available from Amazon, http://www.amazon.com/Wooster-Negative-Black-Grip-Tape/dp/B00375NIXQ. I just kept the backing from my last Tru-Grip as a template and have been cutting my own. -Sam

The screws on my Edge always spun. I haven't noticed any movement in the STI I have now. I remember using two hex wrenches to try to pinch both screws into the plastic countersinks of the trigger guard of my Edge, but I don't think it matters. As long as both screws are tight in the sleeve, the front of the plastic grip will be unified with metal frame and the whole thing is doing its job.

Konrad Powers employs a similar approach to bulk loading across the course match ammo in .223. 3.4 gr Titegroup with 180 Frontier is what I've loaded for years of local steel matches. This load is very accurate and forgiving in recoil. 1.135" OAL works with the KKM in my STI and my dad's CZ TS.

AA2520 is definitely temperature sensitive. Work it up on a hot day to be safe.

Look up accurate arms data for aa2520 with 77s if you want mk262 velocity from an 18" barrel.

Meant to say that my loads are 1.135" OAL.

The Adidas boots were ok, not great. I had to wear a 14D with an insole and the soles wore out really fast. I tried a pair of Blackhawk light assault boots, but they have a chunky heel (makes shooting on the move difficult) and I missed the traction the GSG9s had when the cleats were in good shape. When I say I want "something similar," I mean that I want high ankle support and good traction without excessive bulk or weight. I have a pair of Asolos that I like for hiking, but they're much too heavy for running around a field course. They make other boots feel like ballet slippers. I'll check out the Dolomites. Goldilocks' search continues.

4.2 gr Titegroup makes major with 180 Hornady HAP and 180 Frontier in my 5" KKM.

This is almost exactly what I do. I shoot the second group at 25, at the upper A. I'm trying to punch out the perforated "A" in both cases; 10 shot groups.
