As of the last update I made master class again. First made master when everyone shot open & iron sights. Stopped shooting for 7 years,real life got in the way. Came back packing more weight and less vision. Shot for two years;ask to go down in class because I was just barely sniffing A class on my classifiers. Just shooting midrange B class scores in major matches. I have now got 3 master class classifier scores which bump me out of A and back into master. I'm suprised, but pleased. Now I just need to put in all together in a major match.

I picked up a Space City entry on the TX Limited prize table. I had wanted to go the past 2 years so I was happy to get the entry. Mailed it off yesterday. What can anyone tell me about motels, places to eat, best way to get to the range, things to do, etc? I've seen the motels listed on the web page, but would like some feedback (nicest, cheapest, best value). Will the stages be posted this year? I'm really looking forward to this match.

A drunk driver hit me on my motorcycle. I was lucky only breaking 7 bones in my leg and foot. Lost a year and half of work, some of my mobility, and still feel it, especially on rainy days. That said I hate DUI checkpoints. They are all show, no real help. They are statically a waste of time. The number of people stopped verses the number arrested. I feel sorry for the officers who have to waste their time with these political dog and pony shows. I’m sure they would rather be doing anything else, but they get no choice. Hit the drunk’s hard, forfeit the car, 1 year in an outdoor boot camp prison for the first offence. Stop this sifting for drunks on the public streets.

I have a copy of the 1990 Nats. I would be happy to put it on your blank tape (VHS). Happier if you included postage.

Kurt, you can't catch a break. Either you are "sandbagging" or being given matches. Couldn't be that you are just a damn fine shooter. Hold your head high, you are nothing but a straight shooter. More ways than one. Bill

Major matches need to be counted 2 to 3 times more than classifier stages. Us old fat guys can do ok stand and shoot, but 30+ round field courses are another thing altogether. If we are going to recognize classes, leave us where we belong.

With my model 39 I also got a set of Lyman reloading tongs and Lee powder dippers.reloaded 100 rounds a night. couldn't wait to get better gear. Then I moved up to a RCBS press. Use to do my reloading in stages. First my brass goes in to the thumblers tumbler(my sisters rock polisher). Size and deprime about 500 cases on a RCBS jr press(no compound leverage). Later in front of the TV using a Lee autoprime, I prime all the cases. In to the shell trays for powder from the Uniflow. then back to the press to seat and taper crimp. Two hours at the range and its all gone; start over. When I got my first CH autochamp I thought I was in heaven.

If I'm there to shoot, weather doesn't matter. I just doublestacked or noshoot covered targets under bags.

This should be a great match no mater how the prizes are handed out. Robert always puts on a great match. At least one of the KS group is coming, sorry but Brian is in jail so he's not comming.

This still sucks and needs to be changed.

What about the shooter that flinches on a shot from next door and tries to reset before the buzzer? At a big match there are always shots and buzzers from just over the berm.

Does anyone know of a source for parts for a CH auto champ reloader? I'm looking for the primer tube holder, small primers. Thanks, Gwhiz
