It is great having them to come along and shoot but then when they say i want an open gun.... yep 2500dollars later and setting up the reloader for 38 super... still worth it!

I like my 650 it was my first press Not hard to use at all.

I have caspian bomars work good and look nice havent had any problems with it yet rear blade is pretty wide but still a good sight i would get them again.

I just got my limited gun back Friday from apw they did an awesome job!!! fast turn around also only took 2 weeks just in time for today's uspsa match was tight at first but cycled the gun a ton of times by hand then shot couple hundered rounds yesterday and today it ran 100%. The brush finish is very nice! I recommend APW.

Hope you get more than 21 rounds off this year. Just so long as Whitney isn't still shooting her open gun at 209+ pf again. Folks in the squads next to ours had ringing ears for days. Still remember the RO at the stage with the plate rack asking someone to answer the phone, after she shot. OHHH THAT OPEN GUN WILLLL BE THERE!!!! dont forget to bring extra ear plugs and double muff....

I was wondering if it is ok to ship my pistol to get hard chromed? or does it have to go through an ffl holder... Do they ship it directly back to you or to an ffl???? just wondering before i send out the new pistol to get coated..

This gun was mostly done by Carlos Guzman a local gun smith but through out the build he was explain steps in how to build a gun so i learned... haven't weighed it yet i was wondering what the weight of it my self its not as heavy as my edge haha that's for sure.. Went different on serrations didn't think there would be something out there similar. Thanks for the compliments

Well finally got my new gun finished.... needs to be chromed still this gun has aftec extractor, egw sear/sear spring/firing pin and strut/ koenig hammer/Caspian bomars/dawson front sight and ice magwell/sprinco guide rod system/ kkm barrel 40 s&w. Shoots like a dream!!! here it is. SMALLER PICTURES few post down..

i shot it 2 weeks ago 3.55 with a hf of 9.2958 2points down shooting my limited gun.. i hope our score guy sends in the paper form....

yepp Area 4 i got 2nd C so i got bumped to B as for the classifiers i havent shot any really since A 4 i kind of took a break... except for one i got a DQ for the 180 violation "stopping my self for it" and at the classifier i haddd a 75% on "the upper pad" and at this match i shot the 06-03 "can you count" at 85% so the ohio calc. says... as for setting up as i get to an array i need to pay attention to that and did notice that pause in the box on stage 2.... One thing i did notice taking a little break sure did seem to make a difference i feel thing just click cause i am not over thinking what i need to do i just shoot and have fun. That day i had pretty good hits almost all A and C hits except for a few D's here and there from what i recall.. As for mikes 0 that day.

What would be the best way? leave the slide on the mill and put the tap in the collet and turn by hand while bringing the handle hown?
