  1. So I tested it out today and it worked great! After 100 rds the kydex was hot but still manageable.
  2. I just make a kydex wrap and secured it to the front of the handguard by 2 M-LOKs. Will see how it works when I take it to the range tomorrow.
  3. Actually, you can join USPSA at the seminar, if you aren't already a member. The instructor will have membership forms--just write the check to USPSA, and he'll send it in with the class paperwork. You'll be listed as "pending" on the roster, but that gets corrected as soon as your membership is processed, and when the HQ staff processes your certification paperwork, you're good to go. Troy Excellent info, thank you!
  4. It's a two day course. The first day is spent in the classroom learning the rules and going through a workbook. The second day is spent on the range doing live fire practices running shooters. The first day is quite a bit longer, usually 6 to 8 hours. The second day is only a half day.
  5. Also I forgot to mention that all students must be current USPSA members.
  6. You are correct, it is a 2 day course!
  7. Yes, it would be a 2 day class held on either a Saturday and Sunday.
  8. Excellent! Thanks for that, I should have thought about that on my OP! Cheers!
  9. PSGC is located here: GPS Coordinates: 33 51.055 N 116 24.697 W Take the Ramon Road /Bob Hope Drive exit off of I-10 at Thousand Palms (between Palm Springs & Indio). From the exit proceed (approx. 1/4 mile) to the traffic light at the intersection of Varner Road & Ramon Road. Turn left at the light onto Varner, drive past McDonald's & Denny's. A street named Rio Del Sol will turn off of Varner on your right - just past the last buildings. Turn Right onto Rio Del Sol and drive to the T intersection with 30th Ave. At that point turn left staying on Rio Del Sol (not marked). You will be driving along an industrial area. Follow the blacktop a few hundred yards until you see a large granite boulder on the left side ‘pointing’ to the right. Turn right at the drive across from the boulder and continue straight. You will pass Pro Landscaping, Inc. on your left. Stay on the blacktop as it heads uphill going through the gate. Near the top of the hill is the gate and sign for the range. On match days all gates will be open; come on in and introduce yourself. Good info, but what city and state is all this located in? Sorry! PSGC is located in Thousand Palms, CA 92276

  11. I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this post, so please feel free to move it! Palm Springs Gun Club will be holding an NROI course in the near future and are are looking for approx. 20 people to attend. If you are interested and would like to get your Range Officer qualification, please send me a PM and I will put you on the list. We are looking at holding the class in early 2010 and price will be dependent on how many people we have attending.
  12. Hey Derek45, Thanks for the diagram...I went to the surplus store at lunch and bought some para cord and when I got home from work decided to give it a go. Following this diagram it took me just over 10 mins to complete and I think that it's a gonna work pretty well! I've attached a pic to show how it is with black para cord on my JP hand guard. Thanks once again!
  13. Good to know, I think I'll order the Wolff Pack! Thanks so much for the info!
  14. I've been trying to get a replacement trigger spring for the one that broke on his triggerkit for over 3 weeks now and NOTHING ! I received an e-mail from him on October 28 saying: "Thank you for your patience. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. We have experienced MAJOR email problems in which our account was being spammed and used to send out fraudulent emails. I have corrected this problem with my Internet provider. We just received about 2 weeks worth of email and are working through answering all of them now. As appreciation for your patience, I will have trigger springs out to you again." I have sent him 4 e-mails and left 2 phone messages within the last 3 weeks, still NOTHING. This really is TERRIBLE customer service! My Glock 34 has been out of action for over 3 weeks now and I still don't know how long it will take to get the spring as you can never reach anyone ! I did like this product but after the total lack of customer support I don't think that I'll use his products again! I'd also advise anyone thinking of getting this kit to reconsider getting another kit from a reliable vendor. Just my $0.02.
