Works the comp really nicely and i reload my rounds so the cost is about the same as .40
Im getting 26 in my IPSC legal bigstick which is more than enough, if stage requires more there will be places to reload on the move.
Im running Open Glock 22 in 357SIG aswell and i find 12lb wolff spring to be the best choice for me. I have also tried 15lb ISMI but it makes the gun dip when the slide returns to battery.
The magwell on the open gun (right one) is so functional that if the mag goes even near it, it will suck it in
and hey, they didnt cost me $100 each only $8
I have 2 magwells that have build straight to frame, other is from Loctite® 3022 and other from Loctite® 3024 so it doesnt have to be same material as the frame, these loctites have been workin pretty nicely
If your using stock barrel i wouldnt recommend using VV N320, thats too fast powder and makes your brass swell.
Im using VV N340 with 200grs bullets and no sign of swelling.
Heres the setup to make them run 21+1.
* Custom lenght ISMI spring
* Customised Glock follower
* Arredondo +5 Pad
* Glock .40 Magazine
This setup runs perfectly and never had any mag related malfunctions.
Keyholing issue is what usually comes with bad quality plated bullets, ive seen it on many different guns and when changed to jacketed bullets they run fine.
They should do two models, with rails and without rails. I would go for the no rail model because now its easy to drill and tap the frame for scopemount.
Id use just a sharp knife to remove the glue. If you want non slip grip, i have used this one http://www.plastidip.com/consumer/index.html and it works really great.
That would be something Arredondo 170mm Glock extension. I just love his other Glock extensions so much that im not gonna even try anything else, if his going to make 170mm extensions im definitely gonna buy and use them.
First compensator that i did was actually 4 port from stainless steel. The gun just wouldnt cycle at all with that heavy comp on top of the barrel so now its made from aluminum and it cycles flawlessly.
Can you reveal some points that would help me to get it work with a stainless one, aluminum comps corrodes quite quickly so i would like to have long lasting steel one.
And yes do post some pictures when you get the gun finished.
