    No 929's.... But?
  2. Keep on shooting... I'm 80+.... So, you miss now and then... No biggie!
  3. My vision... Rear sight not clear, front is ok... I need fiber front & rear. Astigmatism

    S&W 929 cost

Me either, I'll buy a Ruger Super GP 100 .... If I ever find one.... Mike
  5. Anyone using fiber sights front and rear?... Like/dislike?..Opinions
  6. Good pick on the C-More... You will have your choice on module size + they are bright.. Most/some? shooters like the dot as low as possible (direct mount to plate)... For no good reason I always liked a 5" over a shorter barrel?... I recently held a world class shooter's pistol in my hand AND I was surprised he had 3m dot instead of a 6m dot and was happy with it.. 1st. place is always their goal....

    S&W 929 cost

Well, if you think those are hard to find??.. Try to find a Ruger Super GP in 9mm... As far as the S&W 929's, I had 2 at one time. You had to do all the little things to run with the boys. Your not going to get a "tuned" firearm from the Factory from either "Custom Shop". I wasted a LOT of time trying to get cheepo, sloppy moon clips to work, buy TK's and be done with it!. (Even TK has several that vary in tightness). Mike... PS, Pick one brand of brass that works with your moon clips, TK will tell ya.

    S&W 929 cost

About $1250.00 (Midway) is the cheapest I've seen.... Recently sold mine w/ Apex hammer and all the goodie done for $1200.00..
  9. Thanks, we are watching... Thanks for your efforts... Don't give up! mikeAZ
  10. There is a difference in "race holsters". The Double Alpha has the locking lever outside in the rear location' It's unlikely to be dislodged while sitting or laying down, but anything is possible??...
  11. You could jump out of an airplane with the race holster AND not lose your gun, try that with a kydex! I use the DAA versions..... Why take a chance???.... Maybe you need to get the kant and vertical adjusted to you whims?
  12. Hum, thanks for your contributions, I watch your videos also..
  13. Thanks to all, I've gotten a lot of help answering my many questions.( Ruger Super GP100 x 9mm ) ...BUT I'll need a rear fiber optic sight. The info "net" says the rear adjustable sights are the same on most Ruger revolvers. Has anyone tried to use a rear fiber sight or insert on the Super GP 100? One reply said the rear coil elevation spring was to short and he had to use a slightly longer one for more elevation. (was not super GP 100 post) Thanks for your help.
  14. For the cost, It's hard to beat the out of the box Rugers. I like the old CMORE slide ride red dots, because #1. They last, can be repaired, #2. The selection of interchangeable dot modules ($50.00 ea.) that are available. . You can purchase the CMORE picatinny adaptor if you get a plain railway red dot on line without it. I have found the ETS mags to be of very good quality and at $15.00 for a 40 rounder , JUST as good a the big Glock mags AND a lot less$$$$...Taccom has lots of parts for the Ruger IF you want to keep her... I would not be afraid If I bought a used one. Go to any of the Glock Forums on the OAL of your ammo.. The Glocks mags tend to like a bit shorter ammo..BOTECH usually has the ETS mags for a decent price.
  15. Does not look to useable on a 650? Too bad. The penny under one screw location helps ... but....
  16. Speculation and how it went... I would get ignition and then no ignition, live round hung up NOT in battery.. (This was the 2nd. broken firing pin) I had an idea by this time of what happened.. I called Strikefire, 1st. thing they asked was "what springs".. I said said silver...They said use lighter ones (I did) no more broken firing pins. My best guess would be check the firing pin. EZ to do. As far as ugly brass, your gun was trying to put another round in the chamber when there was already one in it, correct?.. Or am I missing something?. ... or bad/dirty extractor?..
  17. I've had a similar experience... It was a broken firing pin
  18. I meant that as a "ray" of hope...Could be manna from heaven?... $1849.00 is to much...
  19. THE SKY IS OPENING!, ...THE SKY IS OPENING!, ...I'll wait, hope for a fair price.. Thanks, mike
  20. Well, the Ruger GP 100 world isn't looking too good. There must be a demand for the Super GP 100's, as I've received 2 scam attempts thus far. Interesting comments, I've already bought the "spring" kit and the Allchin mini dot GP adaptor just in case. . Wating, waiting, Thanks, Mike
  21. Thanks for the input. I had one of the 1st. 929's. I just didn't like it. Maybe the Ruger sky will open someday?. Some people like Fords, some like Chevys... Whose to say...I had no idea that so many were made. Never seen one in ICORE shooting
