Thanks! I don't have a magwell on the gun, but I'm planning on adding one. I thought about about the base pad issue immediately after I posted. Thanks for checking on that for me. Time to buy some new 140's.

I've been out of the game for a while, and I'm hoping to get back into shooting some USPSA matches this season. I have an STI Eagle in 9mm that I plan on shooting Limited minor. I have some standard 126 mm magazines, and I was wondering what would be the best base pads to use for maximum capacity as well as ease of removal. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The essence of competitive shooting (at least the competitive shooting that we do), is pretty simple. It is the ability to put multiple hits on multiple targets, quickly and accurately, from a variety of positions, and using a sufficiently powerful handgun. Guess what? It's the same for defense shooting. At least the shooting is. Tactics may well be a different story. Scott
