Eric ! I,ve shot a Colt DE with a bull barrel and full length tungstun guide rod since the mid 90's. It's a bit heavy but easy to control with full power loads. Not the STI style frame but a shooter nun the less. The recent Complete guide to 1911 has a great article on the Novak gun. Would love to have a high cap 10m/m to run Limited with the big boys as it is I'm shooting L-10. Do it I'm sure you won't regret doing so. Have fun! The 135 noslers will scream out of the 10. Timpe

I currently shoot a delta elite 10m/m with a Schumann ramped bull barrel in Limited 10.Question is do I need a ramped barrel bushing combo in this gun to shoot Single Stack. Or can I use an unramped barrel in this gun? I a ramped bushing barrel legal for s/s I know the bull barrel isn't. Thanks Agin Tim

I've just decided to return to USPSA after several years of traveling for work reasons and not having the time to devote to shooting. My question is can I have a ramped barrel and bushing installed on my almost stock 1911 which has a ramped bull currently and still use it for singe stack or is the ramped barrel a no-no? Thanks Tim

Just watched the Steel Challenge on OLN noticed Rob Lathems pistol had a smaller looking electronic dot sight on it. Could someone identify the brand for me? Haven't really used any type of electronc sight system before, as I'm getting older (53) my eyes arn't quite like they were a few years back. Thanks Tim

I'm new to IDPA actually I stoped by the first major shoot in Jefferson City Mo. a few years back to Observe looked very challenging. At the time I was tied up in IPSIC. I,m trying to sell a S&W and was in negociations but it went south because the pistol has a five inch barrel. What is the guideline for barrel length in IDPA? Thanks Timpe

Used 610-2's are going for $700-$850 on gunbroker. I nice 98% one with a 6 1/2 barrel just went for $707 yesterday Also, is this a 5 inch barrel or a 6.5 inch barrel, the 5 inch goes for more. As far as value towards a 627-5.......I'd think even trade, 610's sell on the auction sites, 627's sit for awhile.
