Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. Mine was out of spec enough where they needed to replace the entire firearm. I got the new one and it dosen't seem to have any of the old issues. Now only if I could hold weekends off
  2. I received mine back today the issue was not resolved. I've reached back out to Canik to see how they would like me to proceed, I have a suspicion they don't have a good idea for a fix
  3. I had similar issues right out of the box. I haven't been able to shoot as much with work being crazy, so I didn't mind sending it in. I will update when they get back to me.
  4. I can't seem to find a recommendation for in lbs of torque to set the screws for the plate/optic with. Do you or anyone else have a guidance for this? EDIT Heard back from Canik "Hand tighten screws and let the helicoil do the work" and there's no maintenance schedule per say but just to replace all springs around 7500-10,000 rounds. I hope this helps others
  5. I'm glad that production is hopefully going to increase capacity to 15. I think it's a good middle ground.
  6. I've been called alot worse, so I'll take it as a compliment! Thanks for the responses guys, I wasn't aware Century Arms was the spare parts for Canik in USA. But it's good to hear they're taking care of people or atleast starting too instead of what I've heard in the past.
  7. Has Canik improved the ability to get spare parts? I'm considering getting a a few Caniks and the thought of not being able to promptly get spare parts if I needed them would frustrate the hell outta me. I'm a glock shill so everything is new and scary
  8. Hot damn! I know it won't make me better, but I want one damnit!
  9. Any real differences I can't notice when shooting in a match environmen at speed. That being said the only reason I prefer the gen5s is I don't like the finger grooves.
  10. I had a similar issue. I was using a Real Avid Punch set and bent them, I went out to Home Depot and got the Dasco Small Punch Set and with the higher quality steel punch with a standard hammer it came out easily. Let me know if that helps! Cody
  11. The more positive reset is fantastic, it seems like a great product. I don't think the vex or the timney make me shoot any better but its fun to tinker!

    Heavy weight Zev OZ9

I find myself debating the same thing. I know it's not the gun, but damn that 320 Max is a great offering outta the box!
