  1. Turns for inventory are not the same as increases in sales. It just means that inventory is sitting on the shelves for less amount of time. They are however related. As in this case, when (lets say) 90% of ammo is back ordered, you are going to ship it as soon as you have the production done. Rather than it sitting on the shelf for an average of 2 months (6x turns.) 12 turn average would mean that you move your entire inventory on average every month. That still might mean that your 6.5 Creedmore might sit on the shelf for a couple months, while you ship your 9mm out 3 times a month, as soon as it is ready to ship. Turns is important in business because it plays into cash flow. If your inventory doesn't turn fast enough, you don't have the cash to make / purchase more. Finding a balance is important. Too much inventory sitting on shelves, no cash, too little and you don't have what your customers need. There are really 2 reasons why turns may be a bit important to this discussion. 1.It somewhat represents the demand, in that everything that is made is shipped. Not sitting on shelves. 2.If you are creating 12x more actual shipments, that is also a strain on the business and will cause an increase in costs and possibly cause other delays in the actual production process. You either have to hire more people to handle and ship more packages or you might have to pull employees from somewhere else in your business to do it. The actual cost of shipping is also more for smaller shipments.

I'll take another look and I'll take some pictures. I could be off base for sure.

I bought a TSO late last year. I was very concerned about what I was seeing with the magwell in pictures and videos. But when I actually went to buy one, the magwell was actually pretty well blended with the frame. Not perfect, but nothing that concerned me. And not what I was seeing in photos and videos. I assumed that the early versions were the ones that were so far off. Strange to see pictures above with such a marked difference on a new model.
  5. I tried belling a bit more. That didn’t work. keeping everything the same, I tested loading Blue Bullet 147 Flat Point at 1.120 and those work fine! I assume they will shoot about the same. Might have to re-chrono with having a bit more gap in the empty brass space and a different profile. Thanks for the help!
  6. Having an issue where about 10-15% of my rounds are failing case gauge. Set up my press for the first time to load these. Was not having any issue with the Berry's 124 or 115 (those are .356, while the BB I believe are .355.) It looks (and confirmed with calipers) that it is actually neck sizing down to fit the bullets which could be part of the issue? You can see it in the photo. I tried sizing the NEW Starline brass first to see if that helps, but they still look the same. A few less appear to fail if I size first. Any ideas on what is going on and what I need to do to fix? 7. Ok, I did both. Sprayed a bit of one shot, then tumbled with corn husk media for 1/2 hour. Works like a charm! You all are awesome! I really appreciate the help.
  8. Thanks for working on this for us Brian!!!
  9. Not having any issues with clean 1-5x shot Starline 9mm brass. But when I try to use new brass, it requires so much force to release it from the Mini Mr. Bullet feeder powder through expander that it practically needs two hands. Hornady LNL for reference. Same thing happens with the Hornady PTX. With the PTX, I went to great lenghs to polish it to a mirror finish and that didn't work. I assume the results will be the same if I was to try that on the MBF. I tried washing a couple batches of shot brass in the ultrasonic cleaner and then used the dirty water to ultrasonic clean the new brass thinking that might clean off what ever coating they use and possibly put a bit of carbon on them. Didn't work. Since it is not an issue with anything but new brass, I'm not thinking any hardware changes are warranted. I don't have a tumbler, but if I have to buy one to try something with that, I can find a cheap one, or make one. Any ideas for me?
  10. So, working up some loads with 147gn RN Blue Bullets, VV N320. Decided to put them on the scale just to see how consistent they are. There was not a single one that weighed less than 148, average was closer to 150, with some over 151. So when I go to test on my chrono, what weight should I actually use? Haven't attended anything other than Level 1 matches since I started shooting 7 months ago. But there is a chance I might try to hit up at least 1 level 2 this coming year just for fun. With chrono stages, how does it work? Would I say my bullets are 150gn? Should I try to get to 130PF with a 147 or 150 calculation? Shooting for 130PF. I'm sure I'm over thinking it. It might not even be a 0.1gn powder difference right?!
  11. You got me Sarge. Been years since I've been Rick-rolled!!!
  12. I have 2 of these that work well. I emptied out the CLP (into my larger CLP bottle, I use CLP to clean, but not to oil) and then filled them with Wilson Ultra Lube and Ultra Lube Lite. Zero leaking issues. https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/break-free-clp-precision-shooter-gun-oil These go inside a Tenba Cable Duo 4 with the rest of my range tools, springs etc. https://mpex.com/tenba-cable-duo-4-cable-pouch.html That particular case fits perfectly in the front pouch on a DAA medium range backpack.
  13. +1 for the Range panda. I freaking love the combo. IMO, the default with the sharpies just does not do a good enough job of marking my 9mm. I would often have to run it back through a second time, especially if I was just using one marker. Very very happy with the Range Panda Merck. Only complaint there is that it gets a bit messy as the marks don't dry quickly (in my basement in the winter anyway.) I'll bet it dries faster in the summer and after the marker is a bit more worn in.

I hope that is the right one. It's sitting between my S2OR and SRO right now. Got another on the way as well for another build I'm doing. I am guessing the cut is the same on the S2OR as the P10. This is also the same company that CGW uses for their Optics ready version which gave me some confidence in my purchase. That version is clearly marked on their website as the S2 Optics Ready version, but I believe that is strictly for the cut that CGW does. Beyond that, it is the only one I found in-stock both times I went to purchase. I guess time will tell if the small screws are an issue. As I said, I've only got 2k rounds through this setup. It's not much, but I would also mention I've probalby put 4,000 trigger pulls through a Coolfire CO2 barrel on it, incl holstering, reloading drills etc. Obviously not the same recoil, but that has to add up to something... I've only been shooting competitively for 5 months, so consider this all a beginners perspective. Happy holidays everyone!!!!

Here is a link to a plate for the S2 OR. This is the one I use. Had a whole drilled by CGW for the extractor pin so you don't have to remove the plate when you remove the extractor. Note this company shows 2 plates. This is the one for the FACTORY S2 OR. https://chpws.com/product/v4-mil-leo-cz-p-10-trijicon-rmr-holosun-407c-407c-v2-507c-507c-v2-508t-and-508t-v2
  16. There was a pretty good discussion about this on the Shoot Fast podcast. Two different perspectives. EP.126 https://www.stitcher.com/show/shoot-fast-podcast/episode/sfp-126-glock-v-tanfoglio-79864426

Very happy with my SRO. Only probably 2K rounds through it, so I can't attest to the durability.
  18. Just bought a Shadow 2 OR. It will serve 3 purposes. 1.Primary Steel Challenge CO gun. (I figure it will be just a hair better than my S2OR set up for USPSA that is full weight.) 2.IDPA CO gun. 3.Primary dryfire gun (coolfire barrel.) Couple questions. -Planning on sending it to CGW to lighten the slide as well as install their complete S2 Pro pack. Any reason to send to Primary Machine or Fire 4 effect instead? -Since the paddle mag release will not be idpa legal, I thought maybe I would buy a LOK paddle and dremel it down so it doesn't extend past the actual mag release mechanism. I haven't measured yet, but this still might not be legal as it might extend too far away from the grip. 0.2" right? Alternately I could just run the gun with the paddle removed. Any thoughts on this? Any other alternatives? -For magazines, the S2OR comes with 19 rd mags with the rubber base pad. Should I look to install a different basepad to help with the weight? Will the 19rd mags fit the box? -Anything else I'm missing or need to think about?
  19. Just measured for you. Stock TSO, 0.154" Lok Thin Bogies 0.164" I would call that basically identical. Since the calipers are measuring to the top of the bogie points, your hand is going to dig in a bit. Might even be that the Bogies are 'functionally' a tad thinner for that reason. But I can't wrap my brain around that completely. Side note, those were measured off the gun obviously. I suppose a good double check would be to put them on the gun and remeasure. You are on your own if you want to do that. I'm not taking off the Palm Swell ridgebacks I have on there.
  20. I wonder if this will take a 22lr conversion kit. Kadet? 1911 conversion?
  21. Tested yesterday. Indoor range Let ammo, mags, gun sit in 32degree weather for 4 hours prior. Gun fully cleaned, lubed with my standard Wilson Ultra Lube. (I purchased the Lite version while I was at the range, which I will be using during the winter.) Ran 10 rounds mini mag target through each mag as fast as I could shoot. No issues! Thanks for the help team!
  22. Tested with both hands re-orienting bullets. Same amount of time as loading two handed without my stupid tool.
