Enos, been a while:)
I need some thoughts and help on an Evo set up. I currently have a pretty barebones set up. It’s missing the powder drops, priming system, as well as the CaseFeeder. Because of this, I can essentially decide what route I’d like to go with them all.
First, Powder Drops…. I can roll with the MK7 droppers, Dillon, Hornaday, etc…
Second, the primer system. I can go with the standard slide and stack, I can add the new apex system, or I can get the auto feed. This is a handful machine and I am honestly not going to be loading a ton on it, so really the reliability is most important, and not capacity or speed.
Lastly, casefeeder…. I know the original Hornaday seemed to be a real PIA. That leads me to think that a Dillon CF makes more sense? I could also go with Apex CaseFeeder for the machine…. Again, for me is function and reliability to what I care most about with the machine.
I currently have a MK7 Rev set for 9mm and it stays set for this. For the Evo I would like to run 38 super comp and 45. Looking for the MK7 owners to give some insight and recommendations on the above choices…
Thanks
