We've mainly been shooting the multi-gun matches at Central Florida Rifle and Pistol club. Since the Titusville Rifle and Pistol club started running them on the 5th Sunday's, we've been trying to shoot them as well. Our main problem for not getting to more matches is that we work every Saturday and Sunday together at an indoor pistol range. Every time we take off, there's less money for ammo. I should mention that my wife has shot in the last two Brownell's
ladies- only multigun matches, the last one being in Utah at the beginning of May. She also made time to shoot the area 6 match in Frostproof earlier this year.
So far as equipment goes:
Pistols: Glock 34 Gen4, nothing fancy other than Dawson Precision sights and Ghost spring kits
Shotgun: Remington Vers-Max Competition Tactical with the GG&G bolt handle and oversize bolt release
Rifle: Franken-gun AR-15. It's even Cerakoted green to match the Remington. SLR adjustable titanium gas block, and a titanium SuperComp XL brake, AP Customs 15" carbon fiber handguard, Magpul MOE fixed stock with a Taccom adjustable buffer. Ordered a JP LMOS bolt for it Tuesday, so I get to adjust everything from square one...again. Right now we're running an Aimpoint T-1, but I plan on buying a Trijicon Accupoint next week. No hurry since I'm waiting on the Aero Precision SPR mount which wont ship until mid July.
Hope to see some of you at the range!
