  1. I've been working on it for a year and still not doing terribly well. I'm in my mid 50's and if I really want to see sharp like at a longer range target there is no comparison. One eye closed works better. I think the Red dot sight helps a lot. I know some accomplished rifle shooters that insist on keeping both eyes open but wear a shield in front of the weak eye. It is supposed to relax the face muscles and help in some way. I still keep trying, Good luck.
  2. Life long shooter in my mid 50's now. I have never shot competitively but I am becoming fascinated by the skills some of you guys have and the equipment has become amazing. I was hoping I could hang out here and learn a bunch more about it. I no longer have the the speed and agility (or eyesight) of my youth but I still have fun.
