  1. Yeah they seemed to have gone quick. I usually get the 115RN, but they were out so I picked up 3750 of the 124g JHP
  2. Just a PSA I know components are getting hard to find.
  3. I ended up getting the Armory Craft adjustable with the GG kit. I haven’t had time to install it yet.
  4. I pull the shellplate occasionally and blow off spilled powder. I think I cleaned the 650 maybe 10-12,000 rounds ago. Daily? No thanks.
  5. Update: as other have suggested the line goes away after sizing so as a number of you have pointed out I probably picked up some walther brass.
  6. Pistol? No way. As others have stated for rifle it's possible if you're chasing 10ths of an MOA. I do like the Redding FL bushing dies and competition seating dies for .308/6.5CM/338LM. Pistol its Dillon Carbide.
  7. No, but why not just set the par time? That’s what I do and I think you’ll find that a lot of people do.
  8. It's a tapered case and as others have suggested you OAL is too short. You're jamming the bullet into the case wall seating them too deep.
  9. I dont have a bullet feeder I have the seating die in 4 and the crimp in 5. My powder drop is always in #3 whether it's .223 or 9mm on a 650 XL
  10. Seems like it. I recently switched to wet tumbling and all the brass is so damned clean I’m noticing a lot more. I’ve probably loaded tons of them without even knowing.
  11. I'll run a few through the sizing die to see.
  12. That's the problem I'm not sure if it's my brass or not. I usually go out once a week and shoot about 200 rounds of pistol. If I'm shooting in one of the outdoor bays there's a lot of other brass laying around. If I'm shooting in one of the covered ranges it has a concrete floor and everything I sweep up is my brass. After tumbling I find a few of these and I'm sure several have made their way into the case feeder. None of my loaded rounds have any issues. I was just curious and the line reminds me of the ring you get on rifle brass at the head before you start getting case head separation. If I catch em I throw them out.
  13. It’s not dotted line they generally are. Looks like a line from a crimp but left after the fact. no hump. Could be from a previous crimp, but it’s not on all cases. All my rounds are tapered to .375 for the last 7 or 8k.
  14. I only own one Walhter and it's a PPS M2 that I carry, it's not that. I've been shooting mostly the 320 x-5 lately
  15. Thanks. Its possible it's not my brass. I try to pick up only my brass, but sometimes I will just grab 9mm cases without looking for the torched / burned titegroup marks lol. Mine is usually really easy to spot but it's been 100 degrees out so...
  16. If this was rifle I’d say I was going to have case head seperation, but this is at the bullet end and I’m assuming is a mark from the bullet itself? Maybe I’m seeing this after a couple firings? The inside is smooth and a paper clip won’t catch on it. Throw em out or normal?
  17. I’ve read this thread a couple times and I’m still a little confused. I have an og 320RX and a 320 x5 legion. While I like the flat trigger and can live with the amount of take up, the creep is horrendous on the X5 and the reset is a mile long. From the wall to the break is just mushy slop. Gray guns adjustable drop in or Sig Armourer ($149 / $300) are the options right? The Keres and the other name I can’t remember only adjust travel right? I only mention the 320RX because it has a better break and reset than the legion which seems odd.
  18. Hey guys I joined up on this forum to start practicing with some actually purpose and get some tips from the vets. I picked up a timer and went through a couple hundred rounds working on my draw from a OWB holster (comp-tac with blade tech drop offset hanger) at 7 yards I was averaging 1.3 - 1.4 with a hit in the A zone. I'm not familiar AT ALL with OWB (3'0clock) holsters as I carry AIWB. Can anyone point me to a good resource on setup like height, cant, hand placement, etc? once I can get a good hand placement / grip on the gun I feel like I can handle the rest. I dont know if any of this makes sense and I know that repetition is key, but I'm just kinda in a new world with an OWB holster. The thing flops around too much so I bought a boss? hanger hopefully that helps a little. Thanks
  19. It doesn't take much of a screwup with titegroup ( a powder I personally use) A DOUBLE charge even starting with a small 3.0 charge would no doubt be catastrophic.
  20. Personally I'd say minimum 650 to start. Even though you're only shooting 600 a month, there's no reason you only have to load that amount. I generally load by the ammo can. When 2-3 30 cal cans are loaded up I'm done until I'm getting low. I load rifle constantly on a single stage but for pistol and .223 I load that by the thousands and a couple times a year. A 30 call can holds 1100 - 1200 rounds of 9mm.
  21. I’m not pro pro like a lot of the guys on this board, but I have loaded 10s of thousands of rounds. IMO that is a double charge. Do yourself a favor OP and get a progressive along with one of these, it’s cheap piece of mind:
  22. I read this thinking 80 lol come on. This is commonplace in areas like Vegas. And yes, gloves are needed even with not competing if you’re in the sun for prolonged periods of time.
  23. Meh SH is worth it if for nothing more than the classifieds. I've scored some really great deals there on glass. Accurate shooters is harder to spot the guys who are full of it
