I just started using grip tape 360 degrees with plastic guns, G34, then XD and now M&P. I really like the way it locks my hands on the pistol compared to some of the 1911's I own with 20lpi checkering front and rear. Now I am playing with latest, non checkered 1911's and grip tape all the way around as well.

As you already know, your wife is the biggest variable in this malfunction equation. When you said Remington UMC ammo, I felt as though you may have told another. I have 100% reliable 9mm's that choke on UMC. It is weaker and has a very short OAL and is dirty to boot. I would try Winchester or Blazer Brass factory loads as well as different (I know, Expensive!) factory hollow points especially +p's to prove that it is your wife's grip combined with low load strength. Change ammo and springs accordingly. When not reloading, I still use Winchester 100 packs from Walmart. Even though they just went up another 20%. I just bought an M&P9 also and love it! No malfs so far on Winchester. Good luck!

I had really bad results with the Remington UMC. Shot almost 7" @ 25 yards out of my 226. WWB shot just over 3" Also the OAL is short and the powder is dirty. I'll pass!

I have a new 8 pound can of Winchester Action Pistol. I understand that Ramshot is making the same powder as Silhouette, but their loading data is down on their website. I am loading 9mm minor with 115 , 124 and 147 jhp's or fmj's. Thanks for any assistance. Jeff
