I use Oakleys with prescription inserts for both pistol and rifle. My optometrist was really helpful by adjusting my prescription to the different focal lengths. I used a company in Colorado called TacticalRx to make the inserts. They are great to work with and seem to understand shooters.

I have tried rear FO sights and found them to be too distracting.
