Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Thanks, I am sending them these pics, I haven't either heard anyone but me having these issues, of course cause I have that curse. The firearm shoots fine, no issues with function. rtl, you wouldn't have Michelle's info at FO, thanks?
  2. Does anyone know if the Bolt in the FX9 will work in any other Ar 9 upper like a PSAs? I have a FX9 and the charging handle is eating the locking portion of the upper receiver and won't stay locked when firing, it will come unhooked and fly rearward and tap me in the nose. I have about 1,000 rounds through this. This is what it looked like after the range today and I put the other 500+ rounds through it. I will be contacting Freedom Ordnance today and sending them these pics, I am wondering if they will just send me a blank upper, I have no issue about swapping out the parts into a new upper.
  3. So far my Metro Arms American Classic II is performing very well. Chambered in 9 mm this thing is a tack driver. I have well over 1K through it, with various ammunition types. The only issue I had was the ejector broke, but it still didn't malfunction that day at the range. I didn't notice it until I came home that day from the range to clean it. For the price point and what you get I would have to say the Metro Arms 1911s are top notch, compared to others I've owned, those where in 45 acp though. They where Tisas, Springfield, Rock Island Armory, Armscor, Ruger, and Sig Sauer.
  4. Same question? Does the quarters work, do they help lesson the bolts travel and aid in cycling at all.
  5. Have anyone else have issues with the charging handle eating the rear of the upper receiver? I have just had to send the upper back to Freedom Ordnance to have them look why the charging handle has so much play in it that when shooting it will release and kiss my nose, since I shoot nose to charging handle. I have never seen any charging handle on any AR pattern rifle/pistol this loose before.
