Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I am really loving the Nike Pegasus 4 goretex. Feels like a running shoe with enough traction for grass, gravel, mud. I've been super impressed. I have tried Salmon and every other brand, but they all just feel too bulky and end of day my legs ache. Plus, the goretex on the Nike's actually shed water. All other goretex running/niking shoes I've had just keep the water and weigh the show down. They also ALL end up smelling like mildew way too fast vs these Nike's.

    CZ TSO barrel play

I've always been more of one to check lockup when in battery. With slide closed can you wiggle the barrel at tip in slide? Does the breach of slide have much play when in battery when you push on barrel? My Cz tso I converted to 9mm doesn't lock up tightly when just in slide, but when assembled and slide forward in battery there is little movement of barrel. Shoots really good groups with whatever I've put through it
  3. I didn't have to fit my cz custom barrel. Dropped right in. Has a bit of side to side play when slide is off, but it's locked in. When I put slide on frame lockup is solid. I did change the extractor to 9mm and got some 9mm mags. Runs fine so far with about 50 test rounds through it. Will shoot it more in the coming weeks.
  4. Wondering if all I need for this conversion is a barrel, extractor and mags? I'm assuming large frame tanfoglios are swapable. Wanting to do a 9mm conversion as I'm not really using it in 45 anymore. Hard to find exactly what's needed online for this topic. I'm good with doing a barrel fitting if need be. Have done one or two before on a CZ. If it's a barrel swap do I just need to look for a coned 9mm bull barrel?
  5. Yeah this new division is appealing. no optic cut yet, but plan to at some point soon after I figure out this 9mm barrel thing.
  6. got mine out for a little over 60 rounds yesterday. Have some random 124 grain federal I ran through a 10.5 inch barrel with the bcg weight removed. Used 2 heavy springs and 1 light spring in the #3 spot. I was pretty happy with it just with those few rounds and setup. Felt really no recoil and dot movement was vertical, minimal and it came back on target pretty fast. Kinda felt like my stibog which i really like. Compared to my ar9 with 16" macon barrel, hydraulic HD buffer +weights to short stroke I also kinda like how the scheel felt over it. Big con for me against the ar9 mentioned is the weight savings. My ar9 with all that mass and heavier barrel just felt cumbersome to move around with. Couldn't really do anything since I had to go to a indoor range which I try to get in and out of quickly. Will take it to my club some time in next week or two and play with it more, but so far I really enjoyed it.
  7. this is exactly why I'm asking. I shoot CO more now and this TSO has just really been sitting in safe for about two years. This new division gives me a reason to take it back out if it's as easy as a barrel and mag swap.
  8. I thought I had read that if you go complete slide that you have to fit slide to frame, which seems like more work than just fitting barrel. I could be wrong though.
  9. Feel like it's a yes, but want to dbl check before buying on CZ Custom. A TSO 40 to 9mm conversion only requires a barrel swap, 9mm mags, and lighter recoil spring, and maybe extractor, yes or no? Thanks!
  10. think it was my firing pin. took it out and looked odd so took spring off to see if it would protrude enough to strike and it's not even making it to the hole. Probably snapped it last night when I forgot to remove it when taking out the bcg weight.
  11. Thanks. will try to get to pic and upload, but it looked like all the images I've seen. I'll start with making sure it doesn't need to just be turned in one more rotation. Literally right when I felt it hit the BCG during install I backed it out one, so I'm hoping that's all it is. Appreciate the quick reply. Was a real bummer as I was talking it up to a few buddies between stages and at end of match we gathered in the bay.....and nothing.
  12. dead trigger. Click but no bang. Couldn't get it figured out at range. Same upper including BCG ran fine with other lower the other day. Took weight out of bolt and installed as per instructions. Someone was saying I may need to back it in more against buffer, as they had a similar issue with their AR9 where the bcg had enough space to move in upper and caused same dead trigger with him. Will try to adjust and see tonight and take it to indoor range tomorrow.
  13. just got my gen 2 in today and pieced the lower together and stuck my temporary 16" upper on. Going to break it in tomorrow. Took BCG weight out, using 2 heavy and 1 light spring with some 147 grain factory ammo. Mainly just shoot 124-147 grain factory so should be pretty consistent. Will bring buffer spring set with me to try some combos out if I have time.
