  1. do You know what Gr Max shoots now? You said up until he switched to Jp5, I assume 124?
  2. I didn’t remove the barrel so it didn’t have to be timed for head-spacing. Simply remove the Handguard and then the barrel nut then re-install new. Super easy.
  3. Bolt hold open is virtually useless in every aspect, especially competition lol. Buy 40rd or greater mags. Taylorfreelance and MBX mag extensions that get to 55-60rds.
  4. I have tried loads from 90gr HPs, 100gr RN, 105gr FP, 115gr RN, 135gr RN and zero issues myself., Who is this directed to?
  5. The new revised one is physically shorter on the hammer end.
  6. my data means nothing. Collect your own data and figure it out. It’s a simple experiment with new or once fired brass.
  7. If it were truly needed and warranted, all Dies would do it, including factory loaded ammo. Its not needed at all and causes worse SDs.
  8. I will agree, their decapping system is better than any other die Ive tried, from Lee, Dillon, Lyman, even Redding. I do wish their made their die with a little tighter neck tension myself though.
  9. For me, I opted for the first model I could get lol. I actually like the MK3 HG, but it was too heavy for me. This is why I switched out the HG to a Smoke Composites. I also switched out the buffer tube just to match the Smoke HG. I hated the Hogue stock/grip so I changed those as well. Right now my JP5 is lighter than the SC Model.
  10. Ive ran into these and chuck them, not sure why they are that way myself.

I think its the best 365 yet, by far.
  13. since you’re using a roll sizer, nothing at all.
  14. I do have neck tension issues with .355 copper plated bullets.
  15. to my knowledge the only differences are the comp and Handguard, which results in a slightly lighter rifle.
  16. I’ve used Ginex with no issues in my PCC but had light strikes in my X5 due to their hardness. Fiocchi same exact results. S&B primers, no issues in PCC. Occasional light strike in X5. Magtech, no issues in PCC or X5.
  17. I bought their drop in flat trigger. Removed their hammer and shoe as I hate curved triggers. I wish I could use the Hiperfire ECL but it won’t work due to the JP5 ejector. I bought a Hiperfire PDI-GS and it’s good but not as good as the ECL as the reset is longer on the PDI. Also longer reset than the JP trigger but lighter in weight.
  18. 5lbs 7oz unloaded. Thx! It’s the JP Flat trigger with lighter springs. The Hg is the Smoke Composites PCC HG but at 13.5”. A custom length which I asked them to build. They will make a custom length if you email them. I also added the 70° block and it recoils even softer now. It’s just dumb, after the PCC and all upgrades, including optic costs, I spent way too much.
  19. I Iove the JP5 and it’s round MK3 handguard but, coming from a Brekke, it was too front end heavy for me. I switched out the Handguard (13.5”) and buffer tube for Smoke Composites and switched the stock to an MFT. This shaved off 18.5oz. Others will hate it, but I like it.

  21. I’m going to test some 115 Everglades Plated and V2 JHP behind some N340 soon and report back.
  22. for a pf of what, 100? Lol
  23. I didn’t notice much difference from a slower to faster powder myself. But I did notice a difference form lighter to heavier bullets. I noticed my 12.5” Brekke PCC is about 4-5pf higher with the same load data too.
